That's it! Just like that the NBA fantasy season has come to an end. In this final quickie we take a look back at some of the things that we learned throughout the season and just acknowledged everyone who's been supporting the podcast by joining the leagues, listening or watching and reading the quickies. Congratulations are also in order for the winners of the FBW leagues this season!

So tomorrow the NBA fantasy season ends. We'll still have a quickie tomorrow but today we take a look back at commish Eric's season as we ask him what went right for him this season (commish had a relatively great fantasy season this year). 

Then we proceeded with some discussion of the games tomorrow. This is relatively a short quickie as we don't really have much to talk about. Just continuing the habit we've gotten used to for almost half a year. We'll have our last quickie tomorrow so hopefully, you'll stick with us until the end (of the season).

Eric and I both agree that Nikola Jokic is definitely this season's fantasy MVP. I don't think anyone came close. So I guess the question is, who is really #2? James Harden? Steph Curry? Dame Lillard? Next season's ranking will definitely be interesting. But in this quickie we had a headstart in that discussion. Russell Westbrook is another player that probably carried a lot of fantasy managers to the finals. He played 60+ games this season when many, even us, felt he would be playing less. Eric also shared what's the 10th category we should always consider when drafting players and with the way things have gone this season, that 10th criteria could be the most important.

Then we did more roto discussion. We talk about why roto is more challenging than head-to-head and we shared our very tight battle in our roto league. For those who are not yet familiar with roto leagues, this is just a glimpse of what you will be dealing with when you join a roto league. We'll have more roto discussion next season for sure.

Three game days left and now it boils down to which games matter for these teams. If you have players whose teams are either set for the playoffs or are out of the playoff picture, there is a chance top players sit a game or two to rest. So in this quickie we look into the playoff/play-in situation and analyze which teams still have something to play for. We also look into some waiver adds that you can make for tomorrow's games (assuming your settings are Daily - Today).

Woohoo! Kevin Love wins me a friendly bet with commish! Now it will be interesting to see where he drafts Kevin Love next season. But yes, Love played probably his best game of the season, and he seems poised to finish the season playing and not injured. So that's good news for KLove. 

Aside from our usual waiver recommendations, which has slowly dwindled down in number, we had some Roto League discussion (something we'll do more of next season). As the league winds down to the last few games, roto leagues should be exciting at this point especially if teams on top are close to each other in terms of points and stats. It is like head-to-head on judgement day, but unlike H2H where you focus on 5 categories, in roto, every move matters. And if teams are close, one wrong/right move could spell the difference.

So Chris Boucher indeed played today and he played 37 minutes! If there's one coach that is known to troll fantasy managers, I'd say that is Nick Nurse with Boucher this season. With almost the whole starting 5 of the the Toronto Raptors out, Boucher could be in for a nice finish to the fantasy season...unless...well, we don't know what's on Nurse's mind so let's just wait and see.

Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler could be out in the next game due to different injuries suffered in today's game. Lebron James decided to just test his ankle against the very lowly Houston Rockets tomorrow while as we said James Harden should be back tomorrow as well. A realization on our part as we talked about Harden and the Rockets was the kind of season this Houston team has had. They started off with a disgruntled superstar and now as the season ends, they are left with pretty much no one. Talk about a team that went from bad to worse in just one season.

This time the Lakers are in danger of missing out on the playoffs as they might need to go through the play-in tournament, so as Lakers fans we really had to talk about them. Confusing update we got today on Chris Boucher who was listed as questionable on the Raptors' injury report. So will he play? We doubt it. And to be honest even if he does, I don't think we're missing out too much as he is still a risky pick. Imagine picking him up because the Raptors decides to play him and then, Nick Nurse plays him 15 minutes only. That could be a waste of move. So for us conservative managers, we're staying away. But if you're willing to take the risk or maybe you have room to make such moves then it could pay off.

Lebron James and James Harden are set to return. That should be a good thing for their owners but we'd be surprised if they played back-to-backs. Hopefully, especially for Lebron, he does more good than harm to your fantasy teams. Bradley Beal though is out a couple of games at least and for me personally I'd drop him. But then again, each manager could have a different take, our take is that losing Beal could mean you lose 50 points and a good chunk of FG and FT percentage, and that could get you in a hole early in your matchup. And we don't like that because towards the end of the week, a lot of things (rest) can happen.

It's the last week of fantasy basketball and we know that this may not be the best time to play fantasy basketball with so many top players expected to rest, but hey, it's still fun and exciting as experienced in today's judgement day! Now for those having their championship matchups on week 20, this week could be tricky as top players are surely expected to rest, how many games, we don't know. But like we always say, when top players rest or do not play, there's an opportunity for someone out there to perform. In today's quickie we talk about some of these players that could be difference makers.

We've been getting questions on whether Bradley Beal should be dropped. Well Eric and I had different takes on this so I guess we'll leave it up to you to decide which action you'll take about the injured Wizard. 

We also did our playoff story time about today's exciting judgement day.
