Oh boy, the list goes on. Today, four casualties - rookie Deni Avdija (out for the season), Clint Capela (back), Chris Boucher (knee) and Trae Young (ankle), give fantasy managers more anxiety and frustration. Capela could miss a game or two (hopefully), Boucher could be out longer, while Young said his injury isn't as bad as it looked. So now, if you have these players, how do you cope and win your matchups? Should you drop?
At least in the midst of these bad news, Jaren Jackson Jr. finally played after being "close to return" for months. He looked rusty but still gave his fantasy managers something to be excited about. After recommending him as a drop yesterday, Tyrese Haliburton showed some promise today. But Sacramento Kings' schedule this week could force you to really drop him if you need the bodies to win your matchup.
Despite these injuries, there could still be hope as the waiver wire will be very busy in the next few weeks as for sure there will be quality finds there that can help your team.
