Farmers are pushing back against a new probe into the chicken meat industry. 

The are fears the independent ABARES inquiry will delay solve market power imbalances  identified in a separate, government funded report -- which recommended a mandatory code of conduct to protect producers.

Rural Reporter Dusty Fitzpatrick caught up with New South Wales Farmers Association Spokesman Sam Miller about how producers are feeling about a new probe.
