Lobby groups are welcoming the federal government's climate targets -- but warn it cannot be a one size fits all approach. 

The federal government aims reduce emissions by 62 to 70 per cent over the next decade.

But the National Farmers Federation says while the targets are important, it cannot come at the cost of agriculture.
