Here, I am sharing my mother’s secret recipe. Traditionally, she allways makes pork/leek sausages around the holiday season. It’s a tradition originated in my birth place - Macedon, Greece. Try it! It’s all about cycles. Sometimes new people are born into our lives and bring with them so much joy and anticipation of what gifts and upcoming adventures they are bringing. Sometimes beloved people leave this world and our lives leaving beyond beautiful lessons experiences, memories and segments of life for us to hold onto and make them pats of our own lives, our own experiences and beautiful memories to hold onto for now and eventually leave them beyond for the next generation and so on and so on... The ideal existence is, for us to use these gifts, experiences, relationships and part of our lives and evolve - Ideally speaking. Here, I will speak about an Ideal virtue, sophrosyne, and lessons left beyond by a beloved aunt Zoe who passed peacefully away at the age of 89.
