To preview the NBA season, Keith, Dave, and special return guest Jon Burr go through all 30 teams and predict win totals and make their over/under picks.

Consensus has the Thunder, Nuggets, Cavaliers, Knicks as the best teams, but just how many games exactly do we think they win? How low can we go with the Jazz, Wizards and Nets? How do you make heads of tails of the Celtics, 76ers, and Pacers this season? Precisely how many teams can finish with exactly 37 wins?

This season premiere of Fastbreak Breakfast dives into it all, plus Keith some negative reviews for a bagel shop and a fantasy sports provider (FANTRAX).

Most analysts and fans agree on which are the very best and very worst teams heading into the 2025-26 season. In between lies a lot of teams that are very closely bunched together, where a few breaks will decide which ones cruise into the playoffs and which ones will be fighting to make the play-in.

On this episode of Fastbreak Breakfast, Keith and Dave draft which teams they think are the MOST LIKELY to end up in the middle and make the play-in tournament, plus they give some reactions (and awards) for their preseason observations.

It is time for the annual "Butter or Parkay" previews, where Keith and Dave decide whether all the offseason excitement and enthusiasm for each team is warranted, and whether the actual moves made are going to make a team better ("BUTTER"), or if their improvements are merely an imitation ("PARKAY.")

This episode covers the Western conference, where the Rockets, Spurs and Trail Blazers particularly have Keith and Dave confounded.

The Rockets have lost point guard to Fred VanVleet to an injury before training camp begins, dealing a massive blow to a team that had designs of competing for a championship. What should they do now? How much of the missing load will Amen Thompson and Reed Sheppard be able to handle?

Dave and Keith discuss that topic on this new episode of Fastbreak Breakfast, plus talk about the ongoing Jonathan Kuminga situation, the Nets waiving Keon Johnson, some puzzling quotes from Mat Ishbia, and the latest developments in the Kawhi Leonard/Clippers scandal.

A bombshell report by The Atheltic's Pablo Torre alleged that Steve Ballmer could have funneled money to Kawhi Leonard as part of an under the table deal. The Clippers have flatly denied these claims, but the NBA has announced they will be investigating the matter.

On this week's Fastbreak Breakfast, Keith and Dave discuss this breaking scandal and give their opinions on Adam Silver's resolve to take on a matter like this and what a punishment should be if any wrongdoing is proven.

Also on this episode, they go over the Cam Thomas signing, talk about Eurobasket, and list the NBA owners LEAST likely to attempt to circumvent the salary cap with under the table payments.

The Pacers had one of the most unexpected runs to the NBA Finals in NBA history, but it came at a huge cost as Tyrese Haliburton tore his Achilles in Game 7. To discuss the magic of that playoff streak and to find out what is in store for Indiana next season, after the Haliburton injury, Caitlin Cooper (Basketball She Wrote) joins this episode of Fastbreak Breakfast. Among the many topics, she discusses when she first had an inkling the Pacers could make the Finals, her thoughts on Myles Turner leaving for Milwaukee, and she has a dark revelation about Pop Tarts!
