DONALD TRUMP COULD BE RELEASED MONDAY  

President Donald Trump’s condition is improving as he is being treated for COVID-19 at a military hospital, his medical team said on Sunday, as they provided more details of the toll the lung illness has taken on him.  

Trump, 74, who was flown to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday, could return as early as Monday to the White House, where doctors would continue his five-day course of the intravenous antiviral drug Remdesivir.

TAMRON HALL SUED FOR $16 MILLIONS OVER VACCINE EPISODE  

Tamron Hall's being sued for a whopping $16 million after telling a mom during a nationally-televised episode she wouldn't want her own kid to hug the mom's unvaccinated son.  

Jeanine DiAngelo just sued Tamron individually and on behalf of her son, claiming they were embarrassed after Tamron compared her son to a "leper" during an episode about vaccinations that aired on ABC back in September 2019.

DONALD TRUMP ON OXYGEN AFTER POSITIVE TEST  

President Donald Trump allegedly asked aides if he was going to die before he was transported to the hospital on Friday.   Vanity Fair correspondent Gabriel Sherman quoted Republicans familiar with the situation as saying that Trump repeatedly asked: 'Am I going out like Stan Chera? Am I?' 

 Chera, a longtime friend and supporter of Trump, died aged 77 from coronavirus in April in New York City.   Sherman's report came as confusion erupted over Trump's condition after the president's doctors said he is doing 'very well' while White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows claimed his vitals are 'very concerning'.

LONDON Mayor Sadiq Khan urges Prime Minister to BAN household visits in London  

Household visits must soon be banned for London’s 9 million residents, Sadiq Khan has urged the prime minister, warning that a 43% fall in testing in the capital risks masking the severity of the virus’s spread.  

The mayor of London spoke to the Guardian as the government announced the city had been placed on the “watchlist” of areas at risk from tougher restrictions. “It’s obviously bad news that London is an area of concern. But the good news is that finally the government will pull their finger out and give us additional support,” Khan said.

CORONAVIRUS delays Rio’s Carnival for first time in a CENTURY  

Rio de Janeiro delayed its annual Carnival parade, saying Thursday night that the global spectacle cannot go ahead in February because of Brazil’s continued vulnerability to the pandemic.  

Rio’s League of Samba Schools, LIESA, announced that the spread of the coronavirus has made it impossible to safely hold the traditional parades that are a cultural mainstay and, for many, a source of livelihood.  “Carnival is a party upon which many humble workers depend. 

The samba schools are community institutions, and the parades are just one detail of all that,” Luiz Antonio Simas, a historian who specializes in Rio’s Carnival, said in an interview. “An entire cultural and productive chain was disrupted by COVID.”

China Gives Unproven Covid19 Vaccines to Thousands  

The world still lacks a proven coronavirus vaccine, but that has not stopped Chinese officials from trying to inoculate tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of people anyway. 

Three vaccine candidates are being injected into workers whom the government considers essential, along with many others, including employees of the pharmaceutical firms themselves.  

Officials are laying out plans to give shots to even more people, amounting to a big wager that the vaccines will eventually prove to be safe and effective.
