I have to start out by apologizing, it’s been a minute since I’ve released a new episode and honestly I had a baby and thought that I would be able to keep producing a podcast each week but it all just became a little bit much and so I decided to take a short hiatus. But I’m a little more on top of things now, so here we are! 

In this week's episode I am back with Danielle. Maybe you already know this but Danielle is now practicing out of Solaine Douglas Nutrition, over the next few months you will be hearing a lot more from her. In this episode we are following on from a recent episode in which we discussed the HPA-axis and it’s role in disease states. Today, we are chatting about all things fasting, restrictive diets and caffeine and how these things affect the HPA-axis. This topic is particularly relevant to anyone who’s experimented with fasting, restrictive diets and probably nearly all of us who at times are guilty of drinking a little too much caffeine.
