マタイの福音書 7:9-11 JCB

「パンをねだる子どもに、石ころを与える父親がいるでしょうか。 『魚が食べたい』と言う子どもに、蛇を与える父親がいるでしょうか。いるわけがありません。 罪深いあなたがたであっても、自分の子どもには良いものを与えたいと思うのです。それならなおのこと、あなたがたの天の父が、求める者に良いものを下さらないはずがあるでしょうか。」

ルカ 15:20-24 JCB

「決心がつくと、彼は父親のもとに帰って行きました。 ところが、家まではまだ遠く離れていたというのに、 父親は息子の姿をいち早く見つけたのです。 『あれが帰って来た。かわいそうに、あんなみすぼらしいなりで。』 こう思うと、じっと待ってなどいられません。走り寄って抱きしめ、口づけしました。 『お父さん。すみませんでした。ぼくは、神様にもお父さんにも、罪を犯してしまいました。もう息子と呼ばれる資格はありません。』 ところが父親は、使用人たちにこう言いつけたのです。 『さあ、何をぼやぼやしている。一番良い服を出して、この子に着せてやりなさい。宝石のついた指輪も、くつもだ。 それから肥えた子牛を料理して、盛大な祝宴の用意をしなさい。 死んだものとあきらめていた息子が生き返り、行方の知れなかった息子が帰って来たのだから。』こうして祝宴が始まりました。」

1.神様を天のお父さんとして知る

ローマ 8:15 JCB

「ですから私たちは、奴隷のようにいつもびくびくする必要はありません。 神の家族の中に子どもとしてあたたかく迎え入れられたのですから、 実の子どもらしくふるまい、神を「お父さん」と呼べるのです。」

人にはできません。だが、神にはできるのです。

(11) So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. (23) And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, (24) for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.
