On November 14, 2004 college student Christopher Porco left the University of Rochester campus and made the roughly 250 mile drive to his parents home in Bethlehem NY, in the middle of the night, and viciously attacked them with an axe. Join us as Amanda take us through the horrific and unfathomable events leading up to night and the tragedy and investigation that followed after.

In 1915 the Purity Distilling Company built a massive 50ft tall holding tank for molasses in the North End of Boston. However, they cut several corners during construction which ultimately caused a major catastrophe known as the Great Molasses Flood. Join us as Amanda takes us down another dark history rabbit hole!

In today’s epsiode, Jen is going to be telling us about the tragic murder of Mary Anderson from Harvard, Massachusetts. Just days before her 24th birthday, in July of 2022, Mary was killed by her ex-boyfriend and her body was found in Brattleboro, Vermont.

On December 26th 2000 Michael McDermott started his work day like any other day. Until around 11:10 in the morning he took an AK47 and began open firing in the office killing seven coworkers and injuring others. When the SWAT team arrived and approached McDermott he simply stated “I do not speak German” Join Amanda & Jen as they take a deep dive into the largest mass shooting in the history of Massachusetts.

Urban Legends: The Bennington Triangle.

In 2004, Brianna Maitland was 17 years old when she went missing after leaving her shift at the Black Lantern Inn in Montgomery, Vermont. Her car was found the next morning backed into an abandoned barn. She has never been seen or heard from since.
