FKOF familia @hippoflip steps forward with the ‘Plaga’ EP, bringing together a selection of fresh, older and revisited material across four distinctly different cuts. From the techy, dub-techno-infused roller 'Membrane' to two collaborations with @ads-oner: the triplet-driven 'Plaga' and dreamy, wobbly 'Ganymède', the release explores several corners of the deeper spectrum.

We’re premiering the closing track, ‘Paralysis’.

'Paralysis' takes things somewhere considerably darker and stranger. Wonky experimentation meets seriously heavy infrabass pressure, with twisted rhythmic elements crawling through an unsettling, spacious atmosphere. The low-end does much of the talking here: deep, physical and ominous, while the surrounding details keep pulling the track further, almost slightlyoff-centre. Dark, weird and properly weighty, just how we like it.

For 'ECP008', @inner_echo_uk reunites with good friend Indra MC for their second @echoplex-records collaboration, following last year’s My Team. Cruisin’ heads straight back into 140 territory, combining rolling breaks, heavyweight subbass and Indra’s distinctive bars. On remix duties, fellow Bristol producer @KhanumDubs steps in to completely flip the script, and that’s the version we’re premiering.

Khanum opens in signature half-time fashion, letting Indra’s vocals ride over deep low-end pressure before switching gears into harder, garage-inspired double-time rhythms. The transition injects a serious burst of energy without sacrificing any of the original’s soundsystem weight, turning Cruisin’ into a raw, restless club weapon. Half-time pressure meets UKG propulsion, Bristol business through and through.

Following previous releases through Egregore Records and Coyote Records, the Belgian @knurx steps out independently with a new two-track EP, landing on 04/09/2026. Built around deep, soundsystem-oriented principles, both cuts explore different shades of low-end pressure: from the rolling movement of 'Gazing Out' to the darker territory of the track we’re premiering, ‘Double Kick’.

'Double Kick' is a patient, brooding exercise in heavyweight pressure. Long, creeping basslines dominate the space while mystical atmospheres and restrained percussion slowly draw you further into the depths. Nothing feels rushed; every low-frequency movement is given room to breathe and resonate before the next one takes hold. Dark, immersive and unapologetically deep, exactly the kind of material that comes alive through a proper system.

UK producer @thenticy joins forces with Iranian photographer Alireza Movahedi for 'Zeta Articuli', an enigmatic meeting of surreal imagery and obscure sound. Across three distinct soundscapes, the project dives into raw sonic exploration, with each track imagining the sounds of vastly different, unfamiliar worlds.

We’re premiering the prolific cut named ‘Kalike’.

'Kalike', produced together with producer @neesnumusic, is driven by vibrant percussion and a confident bassline, with a heavily FX’d vocal adding an almost tribal character to proceedings. Layers of hits weave in and out with remarkable precision, constantly shifting the track’s momentum without overcrowding the mix. Raw, technical and meticulously produced, it’s a serious display of sound design by the Bristolian, with plenty of throbbing weight underneath.

@proove returns with ‘You Snake’ EP, a slick four-track EP covering different corners of the Dubstep spectrum. From the dancefloor groove of the title track to the blissed-out atmospherics of 'Frames', there’s plenty for Dubsteppers to sink their teeth into.

We’re premiering the aptly named ‘Different Tingz’: and things get properly strange on this one.

'Different Tingz' is a twisted wobbler packed with constantly shifting sequences, while the heavily delayed vocal sample cuts through the mix and adds another layer to its warped atmosphere. The second drop takes the weirdness up another notch: basslines and wobbles switch directions, deliberately wrong-footing the dancefloor before snapping back into the original groove for the final stretch.

After four years away, @volumea1990 returns to @fotosounds with 'FOTO026', marking both his long-awaited comeback and the revival of the label following an extended hiatus. Following the success of his chart-topping 'Manipulate Dem' EP, the producer picks up exactly where he left off. We're premiering 'DreamLand'.

This banger initially drifts through hazy atmospherics and weighty low-end before revealing its true identity. Rather than leaning on dreamy melodies, it's the relentless stomp of the percussion and commanding sub pressure that define the track, driving it forward with hypnotic intent and unwavering dancefloor focus. A fitting return for both artist and label, reminding us exactly why Volume A has remained a name to be featured on the imprint.

@slimyape returns to @menace_systems with his ‘Invasive Species’ EP, folding techno propulsion into deep, dubwise shadowlands across four soundsystem-focused cuts. Where his previous 'Onstera' EP embraced a wilder, more unpredictable approach, this follow-up from the Bait-native moves with greater poise and precision.

'Flow State' marches confidently into the unknown on a tough 4/4 pulse, surrounded by cavernous echo treatments and half-glimpsed sonic details. The stripped-back rhythm section provides relentless forward momentum, while dubwise FX carve out an enormous amount of space around it. It's hypnotic, immersive and heavyweight, without becoming overcrowded: a real masterclass in letting soundsystem pressure breathe.

After two years laying low, @efkia from Bristol resurfaces on @backchatuk with serious intent, once again brandishing her imposing bassweight sound. ‘Dark Horse’ marks her return with three cuts of razor-sharp, super-heavy Dubstep, backed by her very own original vocals.

We premiere the cut 'Rodeo', that comes charging out of the gates with heavyweight low-end, tightly engineered percussion and enough attitude to keep the dance firmly on its toes. EF KIA’s vocals cut through the pressure with commanding presence, adding another layer of character to an already uncompromising production full of wobble mandness. Raw, direct and built to buck a soundsystem, hold on tight for this one.

@yotoswords ain’t a joke. With releases on Shadow System, ec2a and Native Television already under his belt, the producer continues cutting his way through the underground with 'BLADE01': a release steeped in the tense, disorienting worlds of survival-horror classics like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. This isn’t disposable club music; it’s dark, immersive material designed to stick around.

'Pyromancer' is dark, fierce and gnarly in equal measure, combining menacing atmosphere with twisted low-end pressure and an ever-present sense of danger. Its unsettling textures feel almost cinematic, while the weight underneath keeps things firmly aimed at the dance. Sinister, uncompromising and built to leave a mark.
