For their tenth release, @sizetenrecords welcome label heads @soundsoftenshu and Shan with a three-track EP called 'Porta', that captures the imprint’s core sound: glowing melodic top-lines, organic low-end and warm, physical rhythm work. We’re spotlighting ‘Touch’, a cut that brings all of those elements together with effortless flow.

Dubwise and feel-good at its centre, 'Touch' rides airy chords and lush pad work over a steady 4x4 steppas rhythm. Earthy basslines and hypnotic textures keep the movement grounded, balancing euphoric lift with a laid-back, system-ready groove. A fitting highlight for the label’s milestone release: deep, melodic and alive with warmth.

@judderbassmusic return with the second instalment in their VIP (Variation In Production) series, as @thematicspb and @oddkut revisit material from their collaborative catalogue. We’re premiering ‘Minimal Grind VIP’, a fresh take on one of the standout cuts from their 2024 EP with the same name.

Rather than simply updating the original, 'Minimal Grind VIP' shifts the cut into a new minimalistic dimension, while preserving the essence that made it hit in the first place. Deeply rooted in Dubstep, the rework introduces fresh movement, stingin' bassline that induces refined tension and unexpected twists that keep listeners locked in from start to finish. Familiar yet transformed, it’s a good example of how a VIP with a fierce second drop breathes new life into an already banger of a production.

The 'Baby' remixes feature four reworks of the original EP by French producers, and a VIP of the title track that we've bagged as a FKOF Premiere. @infernal_sounds welcomes @alyness_music for his label debut with the ‘Acrid Flow’ EP, a compelling fusion of tech-infused Dubstep and darkened Techno aesthetics. We’re premiering the closing track ‘Ghosting’, a cut part of 'IFSDIGI024' that reveals a more introspective side of the Moscow-based producer’s sound.

Contrasting the EP’s heavier moments, 'Ghosting' drifts through delicate melodic fragments and spacious atmospherics while retaining a firm grip on rhythm and low-end presence. Crisp percussion and subtle synthesis guide the track forward, creating a sense of tension and emotion without sacrificing dancefloor functionality. For their 3rd release of 2026, @locus_sound welcome a new addition to the roster as London-based producer @chrisguillotine steps up with his three-track EP ‘Just A Phase’. We’re premiering ‘Drive’: a hypnotic, heavyweight cut that wastes no time pulling listeners into its gravty-defying orbit.

Opening with a gnarly intro and spiralling delayed pads, 'Drive' steadily builds tension before unveiling a commanding bassline that lands with serious intent. Spacious yet menacing, the track balances atmosphere and impact with precision, locking into a deep groove that lingers long after the drop.

Following the release of 'The Rain', @nomine_aka_outrage returns with ‘Mirage’ (DTN002), the second single from his forthcoming Dance To Nomine album series. We’re here to drop the latest record in the FatKidOnFire Records catalogue, and we’re going back to basically where things started in the early 2010s (before FKOF even existed) with our 63rd release on the digital imprint. ‘FKOF began as a blog in 2010, in part, as a way of profiling the artists I was meeting while going to dubstep nights in London during my time at university. One of the first shows I was going to on a regular basis was promoted by two low end enthusiasts from Torino in Italy. It was at Dark Side of London (DSOL) where I initially met Tony Content (when he was still playing out as Drama), Eddy Seven, Sai, the Fused Forces boys and a number of other producers and DJs who would go on to lay the foundations for what would become FKOF. It’s safe to say that – without DSOL founders Paolo and Marco aka Dropfellas – we probably wouldn’t be here today.

‘The three of us reconnected in late 2024 when Paolo and Marco hit me up saying they were back in the studio working on new material. I even dug up an old flyer from the 2011 Easter bash (which has the FKOF logo on!) after moving house. We kept talking, Korrupt got involved on the A&R side of things when we got some demos, and things fell into place for what’s dropping today…

‘The ‘Bowels’ EP, ‘FKOFd063’ has been a labour of love for the four of us, and we’re really stoked on how the music’s ended up. The record spans four tunes that sit across the beats, bass and space ethos we’ve always worked with. Having been testing the record since we got the masters back from Beau 12 ish months ago, we can confirm all four bang. The more stripped back inclusions bring the pure bass weight earlier on the record and more of the stepper vibes close things out, with all evoking what Thursday nights at DSOL used to be like 15yrs or so ago on Shoreditch High Street. If we had to choose, however, the title track ‘Bowels’ is probably our pick of the bunch.



‘FKOF has always been a bit of a family affair – when possible, working with our artists for years, and in some cases decades. We’re delighted to continue the ethos with our 63rd outing on our digital imprint, welcoming Paolo and Marco back into the FKOF fam. Play the tunes loud, enjoy them, and hopefully see you in a DSOL x FKOF dance some day soon!’

Darkness truly descends as Netherlands-based @mob-killa takes on @sentientsound's ‘Ad Nauseam’, delivering a remix that doubles down on the original’s bleak intensity while injecting his own unmistakable low-end weight. Landing as part of the ‘Spitting Image’ EP (RUINS003) on @ruins_corp, this rework is a masterclass in tension and atmosphere.

Mob Killa amplifies the track’s oppressive mood with cavernous sub pressure, industrial textures and a slow-burning sense of dread that never quite lets up. Rusty rhythms grind against haunting ambience, creating a soundscape that feels equally at home in a dark warehouse or the soundtrack to a dystopian nightmare.
