LDN's @vantagerecordsuk led by Dubstep colossus @lxone celebrates its 10th release, this time unleashing a rudebwoy EP by Bristol's @gemmy. The 'Oouu' EP is a collection of stabbing yet weighty cuts, almost exotic-like beats for soundsystems (below the Croatian sun).

With the hefty Grime-influenced cuts 'Oouu' and 'Dripping Matter', you're in for a serious rollercoaster of bleeps, original percussion and thick low-end patterns - and all surfacing on Vantage Records. Oh.. and watch out for the LX One remix go full Berserk-mode...

'VTR010' has been out since 02/09/2022 onwards, thru all digital vendours. Make sure to support this wonderful label, Gemmy's impactful release featuring LX One!

Leeds-based troublemakers @1fortyproject are back with a new release - and it's the imprints first-ever dubstep drop. @SketchiProduction's got the honours and it's an absolute banger! 'Osami' drops next Monday and you can bag via the pre-order link...

"What better way to heat things up for the return of club season than the first official single of 2022 and the first official Dubstep single for the label. Sketchi makes an appearance on 1Forty for the first time in three years after two successive BSS appearances (1FBSS003/1FBSS004) see’s him return to channel his earlier 140 influences with a record ready to make shockwaves across the dubstep scene.

"1Forty has featured a selection of artists on the Label from its home in Leeds and Sketchi is part of those very grassroots. Starting off his journey learning to mix and produce at the age of 14, growing up in the same area of Leeds a musical relationship was born with Mikey B thanks to their shared love for UK Bass music.

"Taking inspiration from the early era of Grime and Dubstep along with the artists he follows across the bass music spectrum that have such a strong focus on low end sound design such as My Nu Leng, Taiki Nulight, S.P.Y, Dimension, Joker and Enigma Dubz (the latter two being no surprise here) he serves up ‘Osami’ to announce his return."
