FKOF Premiere!

Belgium-based legend @beatsforbeaches has partnered with @backgroundnoiseagency (and a bunch more artists) to raise funds for a great cause. We're stoked to support this compilation!

Here's the full length premiere of the first track off the 'Paradigm Compilation', which is out next Monday, 1st March 2021. Hit the buy link to pre-order from the label themselves!

"Do you believe in tarot cards? Do you enjoy giving back to your community? You can combine the two. Background Noise presents a 12-track tarot-style collection inspired by the lived experiences of creative individuals. All proceeds benefit @musicians-without-borders, an organization developed in 1999 that uplifts local musicians through internationally-acclaimed training programs, promotes resource-based social change, and builds equitable support systems for music communities.

"In this Background Noise collection, each artist produces a piece based on open-ended concepts that capture how they experience reality— all filtered through the intricate belief systems that shape their inner worlds.

"This compilation calls on you to exercise your empathy and expand your understanding of why humans think and feel the multitude of ways we do."

Hamburg's @jahyu continues to receive valued recognition from various big labels, including the lovely @alphasteppa (and his beautiful Steppas Records) imprint.

We feature 'Meditashun' from this long player album, a track part of the impeccable 'Centre of Gravity' release: a melodic, Dub-driven production straight from the suburbs of Germany. A highly recommended listen...

'ASLP015' has been released since 26/02/2021 thru all familiar digital and vinyl vendours, therefore hit the buy-link attached to support this mind-boggling release by JahYu...

The eclectic Scottish collective @skoopskoop brings @aboynamedtzusan's 'Fizzy Milk' EP to their tidy imprint, released digitally and thru cassette. The artist's 'Portcullis' is a mash of hip-hop and Dubstep? We believe so, and the combination sounds like an experiment succeeded, all together with the lyricist @crpntrsoundslike who joins this craze.

'SKP:023' is out since 28/02/2021, so make sure to pick up your digital/ physical copy through the buy-link attached...

Here's a quick rundown of tunes he's feeling from 2020 (and a few classics thrown in for good measure)!
