At Asbury University on February 8th, 2023, a regularly scheduled chapel service sparked revival when students lingered in Hughes Auditorium, repenting, singing hymns, and reading Bible scriptures.
Word quickly spread, and in a short time, the auditorium was filled. After twelve days of continual worship services, an estimated 50,000 people had come through the town (just over 6,000 in population) to attend the meetings. The revival is reminiscent of one which took place there in the 70s.
Eventually, university officials decided to limit the meetings to students under the age of 25 and to move all outpouring-related services off-campus. However, the revival fire is spreading to other campuses, with over two dozen being impacted as of the filming of this show. Churches in Canada are also reporting a tangible increase in the presence of God in their services.
Here with us to discuss what's been happening is Lee Grady, former editor of Charisma Magazine and author. Joining him are debt freedom coach Toyin Crandell, and Mohawk minister Barry Maracle, who both personally visited the Asubury Revival in the first weeks.
Thanks for joining us.

Of rising concern to many Canadians is the issue of domestic sovereignty — whether related to Canada’s relationship with the World Economic Forum (W.E.F.), the World Health Organization, or the United Nations.
One of the brightest and strongest minds in Parliament on this topic is Dr. Leslyn Lewis.
Dr. Lewis holds a Ph.D. in international law and holds a Master of Environmental Studies. She brings a unique depth of understanding and discernment to this topic.
Recently, Dr. Lewis released a video briefing outlining information she uncovered regarding a charter Canada signed in 2020, the Agile Nations Charter. This show features her video briefing.

In 1988, the law on abortion was struck down by the Supreme Court of Canada. The Supreme Court tasked Parliament with bringing forward a new law to fill the gap made by the strike down. No Parliament, led by Conservatives nor by Liberals, has successfully brought forward a law yet.
In the absence of a law, anything goes. This means that abortion is currently legal in Canada right up until birth.
Most Canadians do not know this.
This is why so many Canadians were shocked to learn that a 38-week-old child was aborted in a Montreal hospital on February 2nd.
I personally felt compelled to record a video about the situation and launch a petition. That video has been viewed over 60,000 times, and almost 6500 Canadians have signed the petition.
Visit https://www.4mycanada.com to watch that video and sign the petition.
Here with us to talk about the 38-week abortion and important considerations surrounding the situation are Dr. Will Johnston and Dr. Laura Lewis. Both of them have had successful medical practices and have often spoken on the issue. Joining them is Mike Schouten from We Need A Law, a national nonprofit committed to raising awareness on the life issue in Canada and providing advocacy tools.

Canadians' food insecurity is at a high, and many families have been grappling with rising food prices these past years.
The Canadian Food Price Report for 2023 estimates that a family of 4 can expect an increase of $1,065 on their grocery bill for the same food in 2022. This is on top of the $1000 increase a family of 4 experienced in 2022.
47% of Canadians say they are now purchasing cheaper alternatives, and Food Banks Canada reported nearly 1.5 million visits across our nation in 2022.
5.8 million Canadians lived in food-insecure households in 2021 as well.
This is why the excellent work of our guests today is so important and inspiring.
Barbe Dunn from Loaves and Fishes in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, and Jim and Jacintha Collins from Harvest Hands in Ontario join us to talk about how they are tackling food insecurity in their local communities. Because of their excellent work, thousands of families are being given food that otherwise would have been thrown in landfills.
Thanks for joining us.

Canada’s economic challenges have been a massive conversation in our nation this past year.
The federal debt is now $1.2 trillion, with interest on this debt being one of our nation’s most significant expenses.
All of this contributes to the recently soaring inflation, impacting almost every area of life.
The carbon tax is set to increase on April 1, 2023, which will undoubtedly drive gas, food and utility prices up even more.
Finally, increased interest rates have many Canadians wondering if they’ll be able to keep their homes when their mortgages are refinanced.
In this context, governments should be looking for ways to save and ease the tax burden on Canadians. Some provincial governments are taking steps in this direction. However, the federal government is INCREASING several taxes in 2023.
Here today to update us on what is happening is the Federal Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Franco Terrazzano. He and his team work hard to monitor how elected officials steward public funds and bring that information to you and me.
Thanks for joining us.

On January 30th, Members of Parliament (MPs) are set to return to Parliament after the winter break to resume debate and committee work.
Last fall saw inflation, taxation, and the Emergencies Act Inquiry take centre stage in most question periods. As our MPs return, we can expect these debates to continue along with discourse on other important issues.
Here are a few items we expect to be hearing about…
Bill C-11, the Internet censorship bill is being debated in the Senate
Bill C-21, a bill banning more firearms in Canada is being debated in the House of Commons
Expansion of Medical Assistance in Dying to include the mentally ill and even possibly to mature minors and infants is also being discussed
To give some insight into what’s been happening in these important areas, as well as some good news from Parliament late last year, are MPs Garnett Genuis and Arnold Viersen. Both of these men are exemplary elected officials working on various worthwhile fronts such as human trafficking and international human rights issues.
Thanks for joining us.

The Canadian Constitution and Charter of Rights and Freedoms protect Canadian freedoms such as:
- Mobility rights
- Conscience rights
- Freedom of peaceful assembly
- Freedom of communication in the media
- Protection from unreasonable seizure
- Equal treatment before the law for all Canadians
Currently, Canada’s courts are being flooded with cases where citizens are suing various levels of government for breaching their charter rights over the last few years. It is likely that our nation has never before seen such an influx of charter court cases in such a small window of time.
The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms is on the frontlines, currently representing hundreds of these cases across the nation.
Recently, founder John Carpay was detained in prison for 23 hrs for a related investigation that he was a part of 17 months ago.
He is with us today to discuss what happened and some of the cases he and his team have been taking on— the most notable case of which is The Hon. Brian Peckford’s lawsuit against the federal government for breeching his mobility rights. Mr. Peckford is the last remaining architect of Canada’s Constitution.
Thanks for joining us.

As of this week, Canada has had a reported 4.475 million + cases of COVID-19 to date and just under 49,000 deaths, about 1% of all cases.
What has not been calculated is the number of deaths that can be attributed to the unintended consequences of the lockdowns, such as:
Those who died because of missed surgeries
Those who died because of missed diagnoses of illnesses that otherwise may have been caught
Those who died because of the mental health impacts
And the like
To discuss the impacts, and key “lessons learned” that our leaders should consider if Canada were to face a similar situation in the future, a National Citizens Inquiry is being planned.
The inquiry is set to travel the nation early this year, visiting at least 9 locations to hear testimonies from Canadians.
The Hon. Preston Manning is one of the organizers of this event. He joins us to discuss the inquiry, how it came to be, and why it is a vital part of our national journey at this time.
In the conversation, we also discuss his recently published book, The Redtape Letters: Confidential Letters from Redtape, Leader of the Bureaucratic Party of Canada, to Party Members.
Thanks for joining us.

In 2021 I had the tremendous honour of interviewing Bill Johnson (best-selling author, speaker & senior leader at Bethel Redding).
Bill Johnson, and the Bethel Redding movement have impacted the world through their worship, mentorship programs and books.
In this interview, Bill gives us wisdom to navigate the times we are finding ourselves in--both in the church and in society. His insights were so wise and timely that we wanted to re-air them going into 2023.
In the interview, we talked about:
* general wisdom for the times
* the role of believers in turning nations around
* Christians and political engagement
* a special word for Sr. leaders
* wisdom for next-generation leaders
* pandemic management
* the main piece of advice he would give at this time (last question of interview)
I pray this conversation blesses you.
Please consider sharing.
