Trump says violent crimes are on the uptick, but according to FBI statistics, violent crime in the U.S. dropped in 2023, which shows a continued downward trend after a pandemic-era crime spike.  We'll talk to the Managing Director of Rights and Justice from the Center for American Progress Action Fund about this FBI report. 

The Democratic National Committee called Trump a chicken for not accepting CNN's invitation to a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, and the Lincoln Project dropped a new ad showing which side would bring about real change in America.
