This week, we're talking about the connection between love and forgiveness. For some, even seeing God as love may be challenging because of their circumstances or past experiences. We will be reminding student of the valuable truth that, because of Jesus, they are forgiven and to help them see that forgiveness is a result of God's love for them.

Many times we shut down when the storms and trials of life come upon us. We begin to sink in the waves of worry and doubt. Yet Christ always comes to take our hands and pull us out of worry, of anxiety and is ready to renew us. Many times we must wait for the Lord, and in waiting for His response, we should always seek to have faith, even so the size of a mustard seed.
The Lord is close to the broken-hearted, as the scriptures say, and is listening to the cry of His children.

Do you ever feel that you can't shut of your brain? Do negative thoughts rehearse themselves over and over in your mind? What if you could find a way to turn down the volume on your negative thoughts and replace them with the truth of what God says through His word?

The disciples wanted to know who was going to be the greatest among them. They wanted honor, fame, glory, and to sit next to Jesus in heaven. Jesus turned everything upside down and told them that whoever wants to be great should be the greatest servant among them.
