We look for God in the big, loud, and exciting moments. While He can be found there, Scripture frequently tells a different story. Scripture tells that Jesus is working on us and in us during the ordinary moments of life. The next time you're seeking the Lord to work in your life, look around the ordinary things...because He probably already is.

Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Godhead, and is also called the Helper, Counselor, the Spirit of Truth, The Spirit of Jesus Christ, etc. This sermon will be focused upon who the Spirit is, His effect on the born again believer, pointing toward Jesus' work on the cross.

When we are loving others, we are showing them that we care. It can be easy to fall into the thought process that we are unloved and unwanted, that's what the enemy wants us to think. But Jesus Died on the cross for us, he committed the ultimate sacrifice to show us HOW MUCH he loves us. If we didn't "matter" He wouldn't have died for our sins. When we take time to remember what Jesus did for us, we are able to overcome those false thoughts that we aren't enough. Loving others helps them do the same.

This week, we're talking about the connection between love and forgiveness. For some, even seeing God as love may be challenging because of their circumstances or past experiences. The story of humanity starts with the love of God. In our rebellion and sin, God could have met us with anger, wrath, and punishment...but in His Goodness He meets us with Grace and Love. And since God has met us with this love, the call for the Christian is to show the same love for others.
