  • Wisdom - "Are You Seeking God’s Wisdom?"

Pursuing life in holiness begins by understanding what it means to have a fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord then leads us to earnestly seek Him and the Spirit of Wisdom through His word, prayer, and encouragement from fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Will you seek Him?

    Scripture: Proverbs 1, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Ephesians 1:16-17.

  • Wisdom - "Life Gets Great When You’re Not the Center of It."

When Job’s life gets wrecked, naturally he wrestles with God about why. Chapter after chapter depicts Job & his friends’ attempts to make sense of the suffering. Eventually, God speaks and reminds Job of a fundamental truth of this book and all of Scripture: It’s not about us. Though that sounds defeating, this is actually great wisdom - and living this out leads to incredible freedom and joy!

  • Wisdom - "Rich, Comfortable, Powerful…and Still Miserable"

God gave King Solomon wisdom, riches, power, fame, relationships and everything else that the world could offer…and in the face of it all Solomon writes that it’s all meaningless. So many of us will spend our lives chasing the next thing - the next job, the next car, the next house, the next promotion, the next relationship…just to realize that whatever ______ is leaves us empty and unfulfilled. When the wisest person who ever lived tells us that having everything means nothing, we should pay attention to what he has to say.

    Scripture- Ecclesiastes 1:1-2:11; 3:11-13 NLT

  • Wisdom - "Wisdom Will Change Your Life"

We live in a world that values knowledge. However, God’s word tells us that more valuable than knowledge is something called WISDOM. Knowledge is possessing information about a certain thing, while Wisdom is the capacity and will to rightly apply that knowledge to life. Knowledge can be found all around us, but Wisdom comes from God alone. Knowledge requires a brain, but Wisdom is a change of heart. Join us and find out how Wisdom will change your life, and learn how to start gaining Wisdom today.

    Scripture: 1 Kings 3:5-13, NLT | James 1:5 NLT

  • Know the Word

People will question you on what the Truth says, on who and what God is and has done. The Bible talks and reflects in its stories the importance of knowing God and what He says, and it shows what the consequences could be if you don’t. Don’t let death come in your mind or heart from unknowing God’s truth.

  • Follow God, Not a Movement

Lots of people are divided by different causes or movements. But when we put ourselves into one of those, if it is man made it isn’t perfect. What we need to follow after first and foremost is God, not a movement.

    Scripture- Matthew 9:37; Matthew 10; Psalm 139

  • We’re On a Mission

As Christians we are set to be on a mission. In this life we can get distracted and taken away from this mission. What we see from Habakkuk is his eyes being reset onto God instead of looking to this world.

    Scripture: Habakkuk 2-3; Romans 16; Matthew 10; John 16.

  • Does God Care About What The Evil People Do?

Habakkuk talks about the ways in which we can sometimes question God. We can trust God to do what is right and good because He is right and good.

    Scripture- Habakkuk 1; Romans 12:11-12; Isaiah 55:8-9; Job 40 & 41

  • Invest in Jesus

Society today tells us that a good life means being rich and having our needs met by our own doing. That, in doing this, it must be done by any means necessary. But James is correcting us saying that no, we need to treat others right and value what matters most: Jesus.

    Scripture: James 5
