Yo! This week on F*CKING REJECTS, Konstance sits down with Jamaican Visual Artist Victoria Silvera in the LES Studio, yeah! This is one of the first interviews recorded so it’s got a real punk rock quality, even some theater in the background. They talk about studying in New York City, making sculptures in Jamaica and old ladies trying to make it to second base with Rastas. Enjoy!

In the third installment of the Detroit series, Konstance chills on top of the city with prolific musician Nick Speed. The artists share stories about growing up as weird kids in Motown, being the first generation raised in hip hop, creating Libido Sounds with eLZhi on Witness My Growth, and eating the best fries at the Grammy’s. Nick even shares his earliest work, when he got a spot as a kid DJ at the age of 4. Oh yeah, and that time he almost threw up on Quincy Jones. Enjoy!

They chat about Detroit hip hop, working with the late great J. Dilla, Slum Village and how he was once asked to do the thriller dance with his group in the early days. (He said no thank God.)
