Happy Anniversary, Fearless Fans!!!
The podcast has officially hit its 200th episode! What an exciting milestone to have achieved.
To celebrate, we are skipping a movie review this week. Instead, we are digging deep into our hosts and figuring out what makes them tick. They'll be answering a lot of "schoolyard questions" about their favorite topic.
Join us as Pete and Sarah discuss their origins with horror, what they find most scary (and not scary at all), how they would handle a zombie apocalypse, whether killer dolls are a credible threat, what are their favorite horror sequels, their best horror recommendations, and much more!
So get ready for some laughs (especially from the blooper reel at the start of the episode) and remember: don't get too scared!

Happy New Year, Fearless Fans!!!
We ring in the new year by watching a cheap, British 80's flick that starts out strange and just gets weirder and weirder as it goes - Bloody New Year!
Pete breaks down the story of a group of young people of indeterminate age who end up on an island that is even crazier than the one on Lost. They face off against jump-scaring ghosts and indoor weather events. By the end, there is only the weakest of connections to the New Year theme.
Join us as we discuss geriatric bullies, exploding ghosts, and murderous movie theater screens.
And as always: don't get too scared!

Hey Fearless Fans!! We've pulled another present from our goodie bag, because its the happiest time of the year! Merry Christmas!!!
This week, Pete walks us through the 1980 film, Christmas Evil! The movie follows a deranged man named Harry Stadling, who takes it upon himself to act as his town's personal Santa Claus. This includes keeping a list of which kids are naughty or nice, and who deserves presents this holiday season, and who deserves to decapitations! Basically, its like a bloody Christmas version of Adam Sandler's Hubie Halloween.
Join us as we discuss why you shouldn't spy on neighborhood children, the importance of therapy after a childhood trauma, and why Dale from The Walking Dead just can't catch a break.
So string up the lights, gather round the fire, and remember: don't get too scared!

This week on Fearless Films, we are tackling the film that some say heralded the return to form of M. Night Shyamalan - 2015's The Visit!
Sarah takes us through the story of two teenage kids who go for a week long visit to meet their estranged grandparents for the first time, but find that nothing is as it seems. Told in a found footage style, the audience is put in the point of view of the terrified and confused children.
Join us as we discuss the proper way to clean your oven, Shyamalan's tireless work effort, and why you should just stay at a hotel instead of staying with family.
And as always: don't get too scared!

They say time flies when you're having fun, and they are right! It has already been one year since Sarah took over co-hosting duties on the Fearless Films podcast, and she's got a special treat for all of us.
This week, Sarah breaks down the made-for-tv sequel to her made-for-tv debut film, Return to Cabin by the Lake! Judd Nelson returns as the writer/serial killer, and this time, he goes Hollywood! When a studio begins making a movie about the previous murderous events, Stanley decides to Clark-Kent his way on to the set and begins taking out anyone who fails to portray his story to his perfectionist standards.
Join us as we discuss Star Wars naming conventions, the challenges of writing a good screenplay, and how the most important part of any disguise is attitude!
And remember, don't get too scared!

Good news, scaredy cats! Today our friend Christian is here to present a less scary film than usual.
This week, we are talking about 2009's Coraline, which falls under the category of "made for kids, but probably traumatized them a little bit". The film follows the story of a young girl who moves into a new house with her parents, and discovers its dark secrets. A portal into a mirror world promises everything the girl could ever want, but her alternate family may have more sinister desires.
Join us as we discuss French root words, fairy mythology, and why cats truly rule the world.
And remember: don't get too scared!

We finally made it to the end... for now!
This week, Pete closes off our October Franchise Breakdown with The Exorcist: Believer, a requel from David Gordon Green that features not one, but two possessed little girls! Can he perform the same magic he pulled with his Halloween requel? Unfortunately, yes!
Join us as we discuss the holy Avengers lineup, common tourist mistakes, and the growing typecast of Ann Dowd. Featuring a special bonus discussion of stunt cameos, and the truckloads of money required to pull them off.
So one final time this month: grab your crucifix, drink some holy water, and as always, don't get too scared!

We've talked prequels, we've talked sequels, but now we're talking one of the rarest of concepts: Requel in tv show format!
This week Sarah is breaking down season 1 of The Exorcist: The Series, which acts as a continuation of the universe of the original film, and ignores anything that came before! A normal family becomes plagued by possession, and it's up to two priests to save the day. One is a rogue gay priest who carries a gun, and the other is a conflicted priest who lusts after a married woman. What could possibly go wrong!?
Join us as we discuss retreaded plot points, inconsequential head injuries, and sexism in the demonic workplace!
And remember - don't get too scared!

What do you do when you dump millions of dollars into a movie you don't believe in, and it fails to get you a profit? Why, you dump even more millions into it and release it again, of course!
This week, Pete walks us through the production nightmare that is The Exorcist: The Beginning, also known as Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcism.
Both versions tell the story of a younger Father Merrin, traumatized survivor of WW2, and wandering archaeologist. He winds up in Africa, digging up a buried church on top of a buried temple, built to safeguard an ancient evil. Of course, things go wrong, people get possessed, and someone is in need of an exorcism.
Join us as we discuss terrible CGI animals, horny demons, and the real estate value of buried demon-warding temples.
And remember: don't get too scared...

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween... the franchise, not the holiday. But also the holiday... oh, never mind!
This week on Fearless Films, Pete is breaking down The Exorcist 3 (sometimes known as Legion).
It's looking like Halloween because this sequel is a direct continuation of the original film and does not acknowledge the second movie at all. So, it's gonna be one of these franchises!!
This movie follows a grizzled old detective who is investigating the copy-cat murders of a notorious serial killer. But nothing is as it seems when secrets are revealed, and the devil's work doings are afoot.
Join us as we discuss the fluid nature of this franchise, the talents of Brad Dourif, and the mysteries of the elusive carp.
And as always: don't get too scared!
