Happy Sunday Fearless family.
Join us this week for a word from our special guest, Izreal. This message is focused on a passage from Jeremiah.
In Jeremiah 18, the Lord spoke to Jeremiah and told him to go down to the potter's house. Jeremiah was obedient to the Lord and when he went to the potter's house and saw him working, the Lord spoke to Jeremiah once more: “O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand..." (Jeremiah 6-7).
In this message, Izreal breaks down this passage and teaches us how it connects to our lives. Obedience activates the reality of God's favor in our life and leads to revelation. Jeremiah was obedient to the Lord, and the Lord spoke to him. The Lord may call you into the unfamiliar, but where He calls you, He is already working.
We can also learn something from this passage about the process of sanctification. When the clay on the potters wheel spoiled, the potter crushed it and re-worked it into something new. Just like they clay, God is constantly working us into something new (Isaiah 43:19). God's hand is on our lives even if we are going through something. God is with the church, even during trials and tribulation on Earth. God is still molding us-- as a body of believers-- to look more like Christ.
We are the church, unfinished.
