Featured Anime Podcast

This week we talk Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 and the story was solid and entertaining. However Jack takes some jabs at Rick in the form of friendly banter giving him a hard time for not remembering the key points that he had questions on. But all in all they both enjoyed the show.

Next week's choice is Drifting Home. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? Let us know what you thought of it or recommend what we should watch next!

This week was a "movie" but in actuality it was 3 short stories. Each one being independent, though Rick tries to tie them all together. The first one being the best for us and then it was all downhill from there. Each story has its own unique style and story to tell. But then it also has no story to really tell. The animation for each one was unique each with its own look and feel.

This week we talk about a great movie that serves as a pre-qual for the series. One of the positive things about the movie is that it does not re-require that you watch the movie first. The story is solid and the art was very well done. It is well worth the watch with the solid story and character development.

Next week's choice is Memories. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? Let us know what you thought of them or give us a recommendation on what we should watch next!

This week we talk about time traveling and how the show had plots and issues with how things conflicted with itself in the show several times. It was a nonsensical show that was shallow in substance bit we had fun talking about it.

This week we solve the story riddle that was presented to us but there was no real answer so it was all pointless in the end. It focuses on a classroom of would-be assassins, and they're being dazzled with the promise of being given anything that they want. Haru and Tokaku fend off the relentless attacks from the inept assassins in the class with the goal of Haru being the one to graduate from the class.

This week we talk about a recommended movie called When Wind Rises and it follows the life of Jiro. While the person and what they accomplished is true there are a fair number of creative liberties taken for how they were. It shows the true passion someone can have and how love can also change a person for the better. Join us as we rise with the wind.

This week, we delve into why it's best not to call forth a Demon Lord, exploring some rather dubious situations along the way, where clothing is seemingly an optional extra. Despite its brief run-time, this season opened up multiple plot-lines and only resolved one, alluding to the possibility of a follow-up season. Rick appears to be the only one who is pushing for a third series, while Jack appears uninterested and nonchalant.

Jack had two special guests on the podcast this week as Rick wasn't able to attend. Taking a novel approach, neither HMG of "Will I continue Podcast" nor CJ of "Anime Anonymous" had seen the anime of discussion before. His aim was to pitch a convincing argument as to why his listeners, as well as his guests, should watch it. Did Jack achieve his goal?
