Stephanie LaBonte believes in rising by lifting others. Over a decade of experience teaching in an inner-city school has given her a strong passion for helping girls of all ages find purpose in their lives, and find real, authentic friendships. A natural empath and motivator, Stephanie guides them through anxiety, depression, and negative self-talk struggles. She believes the community can bring strength, inspiration, and support to young girls. Her innovative girl empowerment rallies have been very successful, largely because of the relationships that are formed with peers and the community.
Stephanie also has a blog www.grownupgirlchat.com and runs a community for overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious women who have had ENOUGH and want more joy, freedom, and abundance in their lives. Stephanie hopes that by creating these safe spaces, girls and women will feel supported to be vulnerable, courageous, and worthy.

Here's a little about the program we talked about in this episode. Starting June 8th at 8 pm Stephanie and her team are launching a WEEKLY CLASS! This series will be geared exclusively to women who have high functioning anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. In other words, you do it all, but continue to experience triggers and are exceptionally hard on yourself. Instead of facing it, you avoid, distract yourself, procrastinate or push so hard until you collapse, snap, or get sick. How do you know if this class is for you? You struggle with anxiety, stress, or overwhelm. You have trouble speaking up. You are a people pleaser. You work too hard. You take care of everyone else before yourself. You don't think you can have it all. You struggle to set healthy boundaries. You feel guilty when you do something for yourself. You never have enough time. You procrastinate. You don't feel like you are valuable to others. You don't feel like you are enough. Stephanie is here and excited to help you find your worthiness! If you are ready to take the next step in your healing click here for the application. https://forms.gle/nZXDDXbQ7TeKUp9a9

Heather used to work as a Registered Nurse for Intensive Care Units and what she was noticing was that many of the reasons people found themselves in ICU were a manifestation of what was going on from within. There is so much research that links stress to a large number of chronic diseases and illness, so she knew that if she really wanted to make an impact with people’s health, she had to get out of the reactive side of medicine and start attacking it at the source - our modern-day stress that our body wasn’t designed for. Her mission to show people how to take control of their stress response and heal the negative health effects of stress so that they can feel better, feel in control of their life, and confidently go after anything they want Heather's story is amazing, she talks about how her health and the health of others allowed her to make the jump from the ICU to becoming a Reiki Master and is now helping people work on their mindset, overcome your inner critic, empowering yourself, and lowing the effects of stress on your body. She has creative a beautiful blend of science and spiritual connection to healing. In this interview, she goes into how to address the stress in live and begin to work on changing your own inner narrative. Listen to the PODCAST for the full interview! Connect with Heather

The first question to ask yourself if WHY DO I Want to lose weight? What is the purpose behind it and is what I'm saying outwardly match the real emotions and feeling behind my desire to lose some weight or change my body!
We have to look at the root of the reasoning before we can really achieve our goals.
I like to compare it to making a cake, it's fun to lick the icing before the cake is made and cooled off enough to be ready for frosting. But to really make the cake we need to create the cake, and that takes knowing what ingredients to add, how to bake it, and then the time to allow it to cool to be ready. AKA your past traumas, limiting beliefs, or childhood messaging are the ingredients. How you have dealt with those ingredients is the BAKE TIME. And the cooling-off time is the time to reflect to prepare for the rewrite and FROSTING.
In this episode, I will go deep into my story of how eating disorders, disordered eating, and my fear of abonnement come into play in how I eat and see my body as the "Fat GIRL" that doesn't deserve to be loved!

After giving birth twice in 15 months and losing two loved ones to tragic circumstances, Jessica hated everything about her life. She worked extremely hard to choose to love over fear.
For Jessica, self-love isn't just about choosing love, it’s about forgiveness, letting go of expectations & celebrating the little wins. At first, she would feel the fact she got out of bed. Then she would celebrate herself for choosing to wear what made me feel good! She would choose that she deserved to eat healthy nutritious food because she was worth it.
With 3 children under the age of 5 and another on the way, creating space and time for herself is the greatest act of self-love I can offer myself & I give myself the full permission to do it.
