Today we are going to be talking about “Stability in a Time of Chaos.” Our culture’s rapid pace of change leaves many of us feeling bewildered and defensive. Our guest today, Aaron Damiani, author of the book, Earth Filled with Heaven: Finding Life in Liturgy, Sacraments, and Other Ancient Practices of the Church will explore how the practices of the ancient church, such as liturgy, creeds, and the public reading of Scripture can help modern Christians rest in the stability and truth of Jesus Christ “who is the same yesterday, today and forever.” He will discuss with us how the peace of these practices gave way to courage and missional living in the early church, which faced the same level of upheaval that we have today.
