Season 3 Episode 33:
It was February of 1995. Jon Feeney was a high school chemistry teacher, and his wife Cheryl was a respected nurse in the gynecological surgery team at the local Cox Hospital. Together they had two children: 6 year old Tyler, and 18 month old Jennifer.
Jon set out for a teacher's conference retreat in nearby Lake of the Ozarks, and nothing was ever the same. After family phone calls went unanswered, a well meaning call was made to law enforcement to check on Cheryl and the children.
What was found inside the home chilled first responders to the core. All three were savagely slain. Jon had not been home, and no suspect seemed immediately obvious. But time went on, and Jon's alibi seemingly unraveled. The scene was that out of a movie, staged to an extreme degree. Painted messages on the wall. Cheryl's waterbed temperature on the highest setting. And so, so much more.
As rumors spread about Jon's reputation around other women, and more importantly- students in his school, a new motive was formed.
30 years later, there has been no conviction. But what do you think?
