Our study focused on the idea that the gospel of Jesus Christ transforms those who truly receive it. While the doctrine of justification is true and precious to every believer, the doctrine of regeneration is also a critical piece of the matter of salvation. It carries with it a total transformation. The Word of God is at the center of this transformation, as we see from 1 Thessalonians 2:13.

In this message, we noted that the content of Micah's message spanned Israel's low points, including the humiliation and deportation of King Zedekiah and the crucifixion of Christ and their ultimate high point in the future millennial reign of Christ on the earth.

We reviewed a number of texts that teach and model for us how we can pray for missionaries and pastors. The inspiration for this message came from Paul Seger's book Senders, chapter 9.

This message explains how the body of believers will be transformed once resurrected and how victory over death will be complete. Consequently, Christians must move ahead steadfastly in God's work because we know that our hope is a real hope, not imaginary.

Tom McParlan shared how men ought to love their wife just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her (Ephesians 5:25). What kind of love exactly, is this? A husbands love is to seek to protect the wife from unholiness in the same sense that Christ wants to present His church, holy and blameless.

Missionary Bobby Vallette preaches from Matthew 4:18-22 and challenges us to become fishers of men.

Missionary Vallette preached on Matthew 28:18-20. He explained and applied the passage to challenge us to the task of ministering the gospel to the lost all around us, while leaving the increase to the Lord.

Missionary Bobby Vallette shared a report on their upcoming ministry in Uruguay. He also shared about his own disability and how the Lord has used it to shape his ministry.

The Bible engages in a hypothetical style of argumentation in which it is assumed that there were no resurrection. What are the consequences of that? Then, the apostle confronts the church about this false doctrine that has infiltrated them, and tells them that they need to wake up. The no-resurrection crowd is corrupting the church. Those people do not know God. It is a shameful situation.
