Three quarters of women are labelled ‘emotional’ in performance reviews - compared to just 11 percent of men.
This finding comes from research by Textio.
The study of 25,000 reviews found 56 percent of women were labelled ‘unlikeable’, compared to just 16 percent of men.
More than a decade ago, a similar report found 76 percent of high-performing women had received negative feedback, compared to 2 percent of men.
To discuss this further, Alan Morrissey was joined by Director and founder of Career Wise, Joe Robbins.
