For the last episode of the year, we are joined by Kite, the destroyer of the ten-man trials. We discuss the ability enhancements to Gilbert, Tinkerer Carrie, Kryla, and Christine. Kite drops some hints for clearing the Season of Mayhem boss trial. We talk about Cloud (KH) and Sora, the new units coming with the Kingdom Hearts colab event. Christine, Kryla, and White Knight Noel received much anticipated seven-star awakenings and we talk about which we like best. The holiday event also brings us two new limited units: Tiana and Felix. And finally, the latest batch of seven star units has arrived and we do an impromptu ranking and give our thoughts on each new seven star.

On this episode we talk about the upcoming FFBE FanFesta 2018 raid and the new Aurora Fryevia. She’ll be a hybrid damage dealer just like base Fryevia, but with access to many chaining families. She’s got a cool little passive that we both really like. If you think Aurora Fryevia isn’t fabulous enough, then you’re in luck, because we also talk about everyone’s favourite beautiful boy: Sieghard. We’ve all seen the awesome limit burst animations, but does he live up to the hype as a tank? Also, there’s a maid in there somewhere.

Join us for our second ever live recording of the podcast where we discuss the story so far, the up and coming Hard Engels, the return of Akademia. For a lot of us, the return of the Type-0 farming event means more time to progress the story and clean up old trials, maybe even take a swing at the newest Leviathan trial. For some, it’s a great chance to pick up some rewards from King Mog. We also dive into the ability enhancements of Gladio (is he actually good now?) and the gang (is Cor worth the crysts and gil?) Awakened Hasiko came for revenge and got spanked again. This time with less MP drain. We talk a little about the mechanics of the fight, but it wasn’t tough to clear. You get a nice Photo Locket out of it, just make sure to replace the cursed photo with something else before you put it on. Speaking of curses, the Nier raid is back along with all our favs: Mechanical Heart, Pod, A2, and 2B. We talk a little about the two stars, A2 and 2B and what we think of them. 2B at 7 star seems pretty busted, but what about our girl A2?

Hasiko is back for revenge… again in the Revelations of Darkness event. Should the event really be called the revenge of the revenge of Hasiko? It comes with a couple new units: Beryl the magical Tonberry and Elesperis the post gender change surgery Dark Knight Cecil along with some mew equipment and materia we can craft. The other big update this week: the fourth batch of seven-star units is here! Including everyone’s favourite general Loren , everyone’s favourite little sister BS Sakura, and the global exclusive icy duelist Fryevia. We talk a little about every new seven-star unit and why we like or dislike their updates. Plus a special announcement at the end!

On this episode Mini pulls some rainbows and they’re all Kurasame. We talk about the Cater idle animation, the Lezard mission, all the new free goodies (don’t forget to keep logging in for your free UoC ticket!), a clever way to raise your esper summons during the Type-0 missions and the fight against Gilgamesh, and of course the new banner. Wilm and I get into it a little over Elephim’s TMR, but we both love Magna’s. Then there’s the new chef unit! Halloween is on its way out. We saw some great costumes, we ate some delicious treats, and we’re sad to see it go. We talk about the Halloween event and how it seems like there were less bonus bats. The returning Halloween event slapped both of us because we underestimated it. Made the revenge double sweet. The Count for this year’s Halloween was super annoying.
