I wanted to sit down with the Author of Gief's Gym and learn from someone who's dedicated his time to teaching others the Art of Learning SFV. His content has helped me improve tremendously so I wanted to dive deeper into his mind and learn about the author of Gief's Gym.
In the latest addition to his FGC Philosophy I interview r/StreetFighter moderator Joe Munday. He's known as the author of Gief’s Gym, a guide to learning Street Fighter V has gained great popularity in the FGC for it’s detailed and systematic approach to learning to play SFV.
In this discussion, we talk about how the lack of effective tutorials inspired Munday to create Gief’s Gym, to explain elements of the game that may be second nature to the pros–but confusing to beginners or even intermediate players without some guidance.
