We give some reasons for teaching believers faith, one of which is that faith is the basis for doing anything in the kingdom of God. Hence, believers must know how to apply faith in everyday life, which incidentally is another reason for teaching believers faith.
What really is faith? Is believing something for the purpose of benefiting from the outcome of that belief, faith? Or is there more to faith than we may have thought? Certainly, there's more to faith than many think they know! And this is the substance of this podcast.
In this concluding part on Christian suffering, we answer further questions: "Are pastors immune from suffering because of the 'anointing'?" "Since Jesus suffered on the cross, should Christians still suffer?" "Isn't Christianity about enjoying life to the fullest? So why all the talk about suffering?" Hopefully, the discourse will further enlighten us!
There are numerous messages from pulpits worldwide, claiming that if you are a Christian, you should have a better life, be successful, great, wealthy, etc. However, when we observe Christians suffering different forms of afflictions, pain, deprivations, health issues, poverty, etc., we are compelled to ask, "What really is going on?" "Why do Christians suffer?" "Should Christians suffer?" We discuss this issue to unravel and resolve the mystery.
We look at biblical adoption and sonship and its implication for the born again child of God.
What does it mean to be born again? What is the implication of a person being born again?
Is the gospel an end in itself or a means to an end? Or is something else at play in the gospel scheme?
Is the "Prosperity Gospel" the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ?
We discuss here the place of healing, miracles, signs and wonders in the gospel message. Are they a part of the gospel message, and do they confer on the recipients the status of children of God?
We look at the beginning of God's creation to understand the significance of the gospel message and the truth about it.
