First up, it was rude not to ask the guys how and why they started Edge, and how it's developed since it's inception. How does it help users? What's the importance or relavance of statistical analysis on the Index?
Onto our first question- we talk about the ever changing nature of the beast that is Football Index. We've seen massive rises in players just for increased game time, even though they may never win PB. Why is this? Lee and Joel both had very interesting reasons for why this might be happening.
Next up, we talk about FI actually started their own data service or database. How would this impact third party data providers who are currently building good products? Should they concentrate on creating a more rigid and robust platform, and let these third parties concentrate on the data side of things?
We then move on to talk about what the most important or significant statistic to analyse is....and we all had differring viewpoints which was brilliant!
Afterwards, we speak about the limitations of using isolated stats when buying players. Why is this dangerous from an investment perspective, and how can we help eductate the FI community that a wider sample is needed when deciding to put your money where your mouth is!
How much research is required whne buying a player and when do you use your gut? We've all made money doing both- but when should you use each tactic? Just how extensively should you research a player when investing in them?
Finally, we talk about the future of Football Index, and what it could become as a platform!

First up, we dicsuss whether or not A.S.P is nervous having that much money in the platform. Does he still feel it's risky?
Next up, we talk about a potential share split and what implications it could have! This went on for a while but the discussion was brilliant!
After that we talk about the long term future and security of the platform, as well as discussing ASP's biggest regrets and what he's learnt from them.
Is FI too good to be true? Well A.S.P shares an interesting perspective and says that FI as a company and community are responsible for showing that it is not too good to be true.
All this and much, much more on this very special episode of the FigCast

First up, we talked about eligible competitions and dividend payout structure. We started high level, skimming the basics but then it evolved into a much more complex and deep conversation about the two areas!
Next, we talked about the PB matrix....again, I know right you must be bored of it by now? But Paul actuallu gave us some really insightful things to chew on in this segment.
The word Baseline used to get thrown around a hell of a lot but Paul has a totally different definiton! He tells us what he means by the word....
Speaking of baseline, we then compare and contrast average and peak scores. What's better in a player? What situations to these two types of PB player thrive in?
We then talked about positional changes and the Data centre that Football Index look to be creating. How influential will this be to traders, especially those who are newer to the platform?
After that we ended the podcast by talking older players.....is there value to be had in them?

First up, don't you just know it- we talked about the Index's technical issues. Failed deposits, fake buys, not being paid for sales....what does Tom make of the issues?
Next, we talk about the user base. How many users could we potentially have by the end of the year?
There's been a lot of talk about what the highest price a player could reach is...and that's exactly what we discussed. What happens when certain players reach £18/£19/£20? Will we see increased dividends? Or will order books allow greater liquidity in the top end players?
Next up we talk about what each league has to offer in terms of PB. What is Tom's favourite league to invest in?
Breakout players keep getting thrown around in index communities, but I asked Tom what you should look out for when it comes to breakout players. He has some great things to say on this topic!
We then talked about cheaper players, and what FI can do to make them more appealing. Does this even need to happen? Are the dividends at play more than large enough for some cheaper players?
Lastly, we were asked about whether or not scottish league players should be added to the index, and this actually divulged into a conversation about the cluttered nature of FI currently, with so many players seeing next to none, or no movement in terms of price.

First up, we talk about the Bristol Rovers kit advertising and what it could mean for Football Index. We've seen the massive reactions on twitter, and we can only hope that this has an incredibe impact!
Next we discuss the Android app. How important is it that FI becomes more accessible? I also asked Steve what he thought of the UI of the new app!
We then had a chat about the website going down a week or so ago, and the panic it instilled in the FI community...Steve tries to alay any fears and actually turns it into a positive!
Next up I asked Steve what the biggest positive and negative lessons he'd learnt on the index to date. What has moulded his strategy? And segwaying to strategy, I ask if he's ever tempted to go massive on a player rather than just spread that drastically? He counters by talking through the importance of diversification!
@Turment on twitter asked us what we think about positional changes, and me and Steve had a great chat about that! The system isn't perfect....but we discussed it in depth.
After that I asked Steve what made him so confident in the product as to go big? What made him put his money where his mouth is and have faith in the index?
Next up I asked him about withdrawals and if he'd many. His answer was interesting and actually strayed into a bit of advice he had to listeners about not getting caught up in the moment, and depositing more than you can afford to lose.
Finally, former guest Stamford the Lion then had a 3 parter for Steve!

First up we discussed Juan Quintero! After an impressive World Cup, is there a chance we see him back in Europe? The tricky number 10 has been linked to Tottenham, Real Madrid and a host of other clubs and whilst rumours have died down recently, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him back on the continent.
It would be rude to ask Simon why South American teams were generally quite underwhelming during the WC, so we dug into why this was a case and what these teams need to do to climb the lofty mountain to the top!
Next, we talked about Stuttgart's Nicolas Gonzalez! The talented Argentinian was linked to Inter, Tottenham and a host of other European clubs before deciding to take his talents to Germany. How will he fair? What's his ceiling?
The next two players we discussed have certainly been in the headlines the last couple of months; Rodrygo and Vinincius Junior. Just how good are these two? Are they the next Neymar, or the next Robinho? Simon has his say......
Back to Argentina, we talked Lautaro Martinez. How good a buy is this for Inter Milan? How will he fair? I also asked our resident Serie A expert Matt Santangelo on his thoughts of the move from a Calcio perspective! He also had quite the announcement to make....
Staying in Argentine, Christian Pavon is someone who's been linked with Arsenal since January but he's recently signed a new deal upping his release clause. Does this mean a move is completely off? Or are the club just looking for a bigger fee?
Next up we discussed the very curious tale of Geovani Banguera...the goalkeeper that has seemingly come out of nowhere in Colombian football and been a massive hit! Simon is a massive admirer....
Back to Argentina one more time, we talk Angel Correa..is he going to get his chance to sign at Atleti this season? Or shoud he look elsewhere to fulfil his potential...
I then went on to ask Simon what on earth is going on with Yerry Mina? The dominant centre half had a fantastic World Cup, but Barcelona just don't seem to fancy him. A move beckons, but where to? And how good could he be if he plays regularly?
Next, I asked Simon for some hidden South American gems. He rattled off lot's of players I'd never ever heard of, but we also talked about the talented Lucas Paqueta who's been linked to Chelsea, Roma, Man City, Inter, Liverpool.....you name it basically!

First up, Profit hunter talks us through his Football Index journey. What were his best and worst trades? What strategies did he use to exit his best trades?
Next, we discuss in depth FI's current and future marketing plans. What are his thoughts on the upcoming seasons' Sky Sports ads? Was the Sweepstake the best use of £100k? How would he have used the money if he was head of marketing?
You may remember Ep. 36. with Tom from WGTA where we discussed how useful FPL knowledge is for FI, and this time we talked about Football Manager. Does it help to unearth some hidden gems? We then go on to talk about the impact new managers could have on PB. How will Sarri, Emery and Ancelotti fair when it comes to Football Index?
After that we talked all about the market post-World Cup, is it inflated? Or have the price of average players just increased? James talks us through his thoughts!
Next, we talk about ROI...are we getting less bang for our buck? Or are the opportunities still there?
We then go on to talk about newbies and give some great advice. What's the best strategy to take on when first starting out?
Finally, I ask James what price rises and declines have surprised him the most recently!
