Fight Disciples Podcast

A moment of post fight madness could have cost him his career, but the fact Khabib Nurmagomedov is willing to forfeit his career for a friend, may just be a masterstroke. Not that we believe that it is contrived, but Khabib's stance with the UFC over the last seven days has definitely gained him fans.

Also on the agenda, Bones vs Gus 2, Chael taking a dive and Conor having it away in Dallas.

It was supposed to be his big coming out party, but Francesco Patera didn't read the script.  The Belgian weathered an early storm to put on a clinic that Lewis Ritson had no answers to.  Has the Geordie been found out or will he be able to come again?  We discuss the cracking Newcastle event, Martin Bakole's no show and Terrence Crawford's smoke show.

Also on the agenda, Billy Joe Saunders, the world boxing super series and that mascot that Wilder gave a whack!

We are delighted to bring you a new weekly show on the Fight Disciples network.

We have teamed up with former UFC world title challenger and the best MMA analyst in the game, Dan Hardy, to bring you Full Reptile Radio.

Each week, Dan will let you in to his world. Of course, the majority of the conversation will revolve around MMA, but he does have plenty of other interests and is an incredibly deep thinker, qualities which we believe lead to and incredible listen.

This week he is fresh back from Las Vegas and UFC229 to sit down with his mate Owen Oxley.  The boys shoot the breeze over the largest MMA event, and aftermath, of all time.

THANK YOU TO THE ORANGE APE FOR THIS WEEKS SHOW PROFILE PICTURE

It was a masterful performance spoiled by a moment of madness.  The repercussions are still uncertain but UFC229 will live long in the memory for all the wrong reasons which is sad especially when there's so many positive things to talk about.

We discuss the lot as well as all the latest news from the world of MMA

Panto season came early as Deontay Wllder and Tyson Fury began the promotion of their fight on December 1st. Not since the 90's have we heard the word 'Dosser' used so frequently.  The barbs were sharp and to the point and provide the perfect appetiser to the main event.

We discuss that, all the weekends action where Callum Johnson came up short and look forward to a night in Newcastle with Lewis Ritson.

History was made last weekend as Callum Smith joined the uber-elite club and was crowned Ring Magazine champion as the new world number one super-middleweight with his thrilling knockout of George Groves in Saudi Arabi. And, of course, the World Boxing Super Series champion made a beeline for our studios to discuss the fight, the belts and what comes next exclusive with Adam and Nick before anybody else.

A lot has happened in the 99 weeks that Conor McGregor has been away from the octagon and not all of it good.  No matter what you think, the UFC need him more than ever.  Can he deliver?

What ever happens, the balls he has shown to take the most dangerous fight available after a 2 year hiatus must be commended.

Randomly on this weeks show, Peppa pig makes an appearance alongside your favourite fight chat!

He may have had to travel to the most random place to do it, but Callum Smith certainly disappoint when it came to bring present back off his holidays.  His hand luggage was full of treasure as he rode into Liverpool after becoming the best Super Middleweight on the planet.

We discuss his tremendous victory in Jeddah, whether his stablemate Callum Johnson can do something similar this weekend and who comes out on top in Catterall vs Davies.
