This week’s Fight for Iowa spotlights a transformation decades in the making. When the sun rises on November 3, construction crews will break ground on a full-scale renovation of the University of Iowa’s historic Finkbine Golf Course — a 200-acre property that’s been home to Hawkeye golf since the 1950s. The redesign aims to create one of the Big Ten’s and Midwest’s premier public golf experiences, complementing the new Nagle Family Clubhouse and state-of-the-art practice facilities.
