On Sunday, Iowa found out it will play Missouri in the Music City Bowl on December 30, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The two programs were supposed to play in 2020 until COVID-19 forced a cancellation.

Kaleb Johnson, 2nd in the nation in rushing yards, had a career-high in rushing attempts. He had 165 yards on the ground with a touchdown that officially made him Iowa's rushing touchdown leader in a single season, passing Shonn Greene's mark of 20. Johnson has 21 on the season.
