As a leader, we sometimes get caught up in giving direction and expecting results. But when we don't get the results we were expecting, how do we react? Do we just start handing out consequences? Counting people out of the game? Or do we investigate and ask questions to determine the breakdown and reasons as to why the results were not met? It never hurts to ask questions for better understanding. It can create connections with our team and we can learn as much as our teams learn just by asking.
If you haven't found it yet, go to www.womenRLeaders2.com and check out my very first and my very own .com website!! I'm so excited to have launched a new step in my journey. There are some many new things coming and it all starts right here.
In this podcast I talk about some exciting new things to come and I also share something that I have recently realized about myself.
Do you ever find your self stressed and overwhelmed because you have too many competing tasks or projects and you just can't get your head above water? You may be like me and have trouble learning to say "NO" to some of those tasks or people who are dragging you in to numerous projects. I am noticing this about myself and working through each moment to learn when and how to properly say "NO" and redirect things so that I can also be successful myself.
Check it out!!
Do you find yourself surrounded by negative energy, thoughts or actions?
I found myself allowing negative energy to determine how I was living my life. I recently came across some resources that have helped me learn how to better receive positive energy and push out the negative. Its a day to day and even hour by hour journey sometimes, but I wanted to share what has worked for me and hopefully you can try out and see how it works for you.

Yes, yes...I realize I already did an episode Titled "I'm Back" but here I am again. You know what they say "Its not about how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up" or something like that. Just getting a quick post out there to check how my equipment is going to work and let ya'll know I am on the road again to figure out all that life has thrown at us. I hope you will give me feedback and join me each week as I share anything and everything on my mind. You have been warned.
I am sorry I have been MIA lately. Life happens!! But I'm back and ready to catch up and get going again. Thanks to all those who kept trying to push me back on track!
This episode is just about me catching up with what has been going on since my last episode. I also discuss some of the ah-ha moments I have had recently about just not knowing what someone is going through even when they are someone who is the closest to you. Gives a new perspective on how you interact with people when you are in public.
I recorded this episode from my Facebook Live stream in my Facebook Page Figuring It Out Together. Come join my group Let's Figure It Out Together and join the chat.
I have spent countless hours researching nutrition and all the many things that can and will effect my health. I share some of those things, chat with friends who join in on the chat and give some ideas to create thought around how to be healthy.

In this episode, I was honored to have my youngest child, James, join me. Now, I may or may not, have had to bribe him, but he wanted his chance to speak on the birth order, as discussed in episode 2. Listen in as James answers questions and talks about what it is like being the youngest of two boys.
This weeks episode I share why you DON'T put your number online if you are asked to "Sign Up Here". I promise I already knew this but had a slip in judgement. Good lesson to be reminded of. I also share some things that I use and am working on to help me find some "ME" time. I also share ways that I am beginning my day on a brighter, more positive note and steps I take to help work through stress. Maybe you can try them, if you struggle with these and maybe they will help you to! Share what you have done that works for you!
**NOTE** This is truly episode 4. I have one episode that is a text only entry on podbean.com and that is why the numbers are off.

In this episode I talk about how I have struggles with confidence. As a parent, a leader and even as an adult. While we all go through struggles, during the darkest of moments, it is hard to find that confidence that we hold inside of us. Although I can recall times when my confidence was like putting on a super hero's cape, I struggle to leave that cape on through other areas of my life. We have to remember and remind each other daily that we are all amazing and we do amazing things. Doing that daily can and will help you and others hold on to that confidence and wear it like the super heroes we really are!
