Today on Figuring Out we have the co-founder of Oziva, Mihir Gadani in conversation with Raj Shamani.

His brand is worth more than 300 crores and is a top preference among people in India. They have a repeat purchase of 60% which is a golden standard in their industry. Oziva is India’s first brand that has received a Certified Clean label and qualifies as a Clean Nutrition Brand in India. 

In this episode, we spoke about how personal care brands, wellness, and nutrition brands work. We discussed what are science-based and what are pseudoscience-based products, how brands make huge sales by using trending ingredients in their products, and more. Mihir also shared the top 2 things that are missing in India’s curriculum and how including them can make a difference. He shared an interesting story of how he started Oziva, the challenges he faced, and how he grew it year by year. 

The most interesting part of our conversation was when he revealed some shocking facts about the supplements we take and how they are made. He also busted some common fads most of us believe in.
Towards the end, he also shared why Unilever partnered with Oziva while it was at a growing stage and also revealed some niches that have a huge potential in health and wellness but are going unnoticed.

In today’s episode of Figuring Out we have Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj in conversation with Raj Shamani. 
The woman who ‘Fights for men’s rights’. She likes to call herself an ‘Equal Rights Activist’. She is a popular Indian Journalist, known for her documentary  "Martyrs of Marriage". Her documentary was screened in 22 cities in India and later released on Netflix for 2 years and is now available on YouTube.
Today’s conversation will not just keep you hooked every minute but will make you drop your jaws with the real stories and facts dropped by Deepika. She shares some really shocking stories in India around fake rape allegation cases due to false promises of marriage and the percentage has increased from 21% to 51% over the years is only rising. The scary part is how these crimes start with a normal interaction on dating apps and how vicious they turn out later. It's heartbreaking listening to how so many innocent men suffer in silence while these culprits have no solid punishment.
Towards the end, we discussed what can one possibly do if he or his loved one is caught up in such a fake rape case. Today we have one of the most successful businessmen in India. We have Kishore Biyani in conversation with Raj Shamani. He had a net worth of $1.78 billion. He is the founder of some of our most loved brands Pantaloon and Big Bazaar.
In today’s episode, we will dive deep into Kishore Biyani’s stories, ideas, and observations that led to such successful businesses. We talked about the young days that shaped him into such a brilliant person. The habits we can inculcate to become exceptionally great at what we do. He shares an interesting story and breakdown of how he started Pantaloon and Big Bazaar. He talks about how to spot new trends, and how to include them and scale the business. We talked about different brand-building strategies used while building a brand for different consumer segments. 
Towards the end, he also shared which cities in India fascinate him and the reasons behind them. He explains the difference between how the Indian market and consumption pattern has changed over the years. I also asked him two things that he would change if he had a chance to start everything from scratch and his answer was quite different from what I expected. This episode was one of those episodes where I was constantly surprised by the detailed observations he was sharing about business, market, and consumer behaviour. In this podcast, Raj Shamani is in conversation with Lt. Gen. Satish Dua. Lieutenant General Satish Dua, PVSM, UYSM, SM, VSM retired as the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff. A counter-terrorism specialist, General Dua was the Corps Commander in Kashmir, who planned and executed the Surgical Strikes in response to the terror attack at Uri. 

He has commanded his Battalion as well as a Brigade in active militancy in Jammu & Kashmir on Line of Control, (LoC). As a Major General, he raised and commanded a new Counter Terrorism Division of Assam Rifles to coordinate operations in three states of the North East.

The General has also been a Commando Instructor as a Captain and Indian Defence Attaché in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos as a Colonel. He has also held important appointments in Army HQ, dealing with capital and revenue procurement of weapons & equipment.
