Today’s guest is Rana, a PhD student at Linköping University with a background in Aeronautical Engineering and materials science. Her research focuses on materials and their applications in aerospace, including how they perform in extreme environments.

In this episode, we talk about her journey into research, what it’s like doing a PhD at LiU, and how materials science and aerospace come together. We also hear about moving to Sweden and adjusting to life here.

Today’s guest is Alba, originally from Spain, who moved to Sweden in 2022 to study Biomedicine at LiU. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she decided to stay in Linköping and continue with a Master’s.

Alba has also been very involved in student life, from the Biomedicine Section Board and welcoming new students during Nolle-P to organizing social events.
