The Film Role is back and this week we are having a little fun and tackling the 1993 child hood hit film “Hocus Pocus”. Well we have done film commentary before but this time we did things a little different we turned it in to a drinking game.

Thomas Robin Randle and I take on this challenge head on. We put out a post on our Face Book asking you the listeners for your rules that you would like us to fallow for this episode and you all did not disappoint. By the end of the movie we where feeling pretty good.

The Film Role is back and this week Brandon is back broadcasting from “La La Land” aka Los Angeles. Along with Thomas and Robbie Join us as well this week we talk about the late great horror director Wes Craven.

Before we get to the episode we talk about some things that are going on in the world with all the recent clown sighting across the U.S. we get to the bottom of it and put it to rest. Robbie talks about how he will no longer be watching the Fox TV show “New Girl”. Along with TV continuing to push the bar as far as acceptance goes. To finished it off we talk about how old we are going to make it to.

We talk about the late great master of the macabre Mr. Wes Craven. The man created a full genre of films with the “Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Scream”, Along with countless others. We all have our favorite Wes Craven Moments but we all agree the Freddy scared the shit out of us as kids and still now. The man was able to create a character that could scare anyone now matter how tough they are. Along with that we was able to make the ultimate murder slasher film in “Scream”. We agree that the best part of that franchise was that it knew what it was, and it was ok with that.

The man defiantly left is mark on the horror genre that will last till the end of time, and he will be missed.

Robbie talks about all the things that are wrong in the Marvel Universe like why Captain Americas Shield was in Tony Starks lab in “Iron Man 3”. I talk about how in “Citizen Kane” how he died alone in his room and said RoseBud how did anyone know that he said it.

The Film Role is back and this time we are getting a little bit “Dazed and Confused”. Well we are watching the cult classic of the same name. This week Brandon and Thomas join me, and we watch the 1993 Richard Linklater Classic. We go in to the movie loving the nostalgia and checking out all the clothing in classic cars all over this film. We talk about how many of the things that happen in this film could never happen today, from the freshmen hazing to the open underage drinking. All in all “Dazed and Confused” continues to be a great movie and never gets old after all when you brake it all down it’s a coming of age tale for the main character of Pink played by Jason London. So if you are a fan of this film or never seen it listen to this episode well you watch it.
