In this episode of The Film Role Podcast, I’m joined by Brandon, Robbie and new to the Film Role Family Mr. Tomas Massaquoi. This week we are talking all about new trailers again. With another San Diego Comic Con in the bag with that comes all new trailers and this year was much different. Instead of blurry video taken on someone’s smart phone in the back row. They decided to just release them out right for all of us to see, how nice of them. We start by going from top to bottom from the ones that where the least relevant to the ones that we believe will be the best. Starting with the Robert Rodriquez film “100 Years-The Movie Know One Will See” the idea of shooting a film and locking it up for a 100 years to be seen by no one that is alive right now. We also disuses the latest reimagining of the Kong franchise in “Kong: Skull Island” which to us looks like a heaping pile of mess, but we are hoping for the best. Then we got to the big stuff all the new DC trailers this included Wonder Women and The Justice League. These movies we all have hopes for these movies but after the flop of Batman V. A movie that is now 20 years old but still amazing despite the not well received sequel “Independence Day: Resurgence”. In this Episode of the Film Role Podcast Sauce McCoy and Zeke are back in the studio together again, and we are talking about the worst films we have ever seen. We talk about how “Battle Field Earth" was untimely the worst movie ever made, but was good for what it was… just kidding, it was hot sweaty garbage. “Fifty Shades of Gray” would be a great movie if you just put it on mute. How “Show Girls” was our first time seeing boobs on screen. And Sauce McCoy tells us next time you see “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. To see the movie from the eyes of the neighbors because it was the Griswolds were assholes. We also figure out why the Bat Costume had nipples in “Batman and Robin”.

After a brief hiatus the Film Role is back and we won’t leave you again we promise. With that said we will be doing one episode a week from now on. We will probably do two in a week if a major event happens, but we will try not to leave you again. In this episode of the Film Role Podcast the guys and I talk about we talk about films that have been remade and rebooted. We talk about what is considered a franchise remake and not. We discuss the idea of prequels and what makes them. Along with what the guys have been up to and Robbie moving in with his girlfriend, and yes Danny was late again.
