  • #36 The Power of Visualisation

In this episode I talk about the key to having more, is believing you deserve more and visualising it happening, even before it happens.

    Key takeaways

The key to having more is believing you deserve more, and visualising it happening even before it happens.

In order to change your relationship with money you have to break through the barriers and rewrite your story, uncover your triggers and then install the new belief or beliefs that gives you what you need to believe in yourself and a plan to make it a reality. And all of this begins by you visualising the success you want to have.

Visualising is not enough. You need to create real emotional connection to what you are visualising.

When you visualise something, ensure you're using all your senses, what you were seeing what you were feeling, what you were hearing, what you were smelling, and what you were saying.

Visualisation is not a one and done. It is something that you need to commit to. It is something that needs to be intentional.

Visualisation creates feelings of anticipation, of excitement, of confidence of really connecting with the art of the possible, which in turn creates intentional action. And with intentional action, we are much more likely to see the results we are seeking.

  • #35 Daria Kotenko – What is Your Money Story?

In this episode, Daria Kotenko shares about her money story. Daria is a Facebook and Ads Strategist and the founder of Yellow Iris Marketing. Her passion is to help coaches and course creators use Facebook and Instagram Ads in an authentic way that creates deep trust and naturally leads to sales without any sleazy tactics! Join me and Daria as we discuss the importance and role of running Facebook and Instagram ads in your business.

We discuss about business owners’ resistance because of the cost perception of running Ads, the scarcity mindset amongst business owners, as well as her own mindset as an Ads strategist.

Join Daria and I as we discuss the importance and role of running Facebook and Instagram ads in your business. A conversation that is truly enlightening, Enjoy tuning in!

    Key Takeaways

Business owners should realise that Facebook and Instagram Ads always involves rigorous testing and experimenting to different audiences to determine what works and effective. And not always do you get immediate result.

Scarcity mindset shows up frequently amongst business owners, because the return isn’t immediate being them scared to invest. To break through this scarcity mindset, shift your mindset to Facebook ads, as not a cost but an investment. Just like when you are upgrading your work equipments and by doing so would allow you to work efficently and effectively.

Ads are like amplifiers or speakers so you can speak not just one but to thousands of people. But if your messaging ads do not connect, if you don’t know how to express yourself, it’s not going to work.

Often times business owners try to use ads as a way to solve their marketing problem, or as a way to solve their selling problem. But you have to find your ‘secret sauce.’ If you’re a carbon copy of everyone else, and don't really know how to sell whatever else, ads are not gonna save that at all. It's just going to amplify the issue.

Ads is a part of your business growth strategy. It’s a tool to help you to get to that next level.

It's really important to find your unique proposition and unique audience. Because then you're building loyalty. And then those people are going to stay with you and come back to you, when you're offering new services.

  • #34 You Are Good Enough!

In this episode I talk about an issue my clients regularly discuss with me…not feeling good enough.

This can take different forms, such as feeling they don’t deserve to make a lot of money, or believing they are simply not qualified enough to earn a lot of money.

    Key Takeaways

The first step to overcoming these feelings of not being good enough is to understand where it has developed from. Often these feelings are based on our own subconscious beliefs that have been internalised during childhood.

Beliefs are based on experiences, or our interpretation of experiences from our younger years. They're not always based on facts, but on our own interpretation of experiences.

Once able to identify the source of beliefs, we put ourselves in the ideal position to question and challenge them.

When you start seeing yourself as someone who was worthy of success, you will be amazed at what you’ll be able to achieve.

You have to go through some pain in order to really lean away from old beliefs that you want to let go off, and what new beliefs you want to lean into

We can choose to give energy to negativity, or we can choose to create something out of positivity

The art of the possible is absolutely possible. The main thing to remember is by being consistent and persistent about creating a set of beliefs that serve you, by creating the evidence that you are worthy of everything you want, and creating the goals and plan and taking action

  • #33 Bev Densham – What is Your Money Story?

In this episode I talk with Bev Densham, who is an author and mindfulness Pilates teacher of 24 years. Two near death experiences and divorce guided her to heal & inspire others with her mindfulness Pilates zoom studio with meditation, mindset, journaling & positive affirmations. Helping reduce back pain & to help more entrepreneurs to be strong in mind, body & business, is the soul purpose of Bev’s business. She has also created a mindfulness Pilates podcast and is founder of the Happy Kids cards and Happy & Calm cards to help children and adults live happily ever after.

    Key Takeaways

Bev focused on personal development and healing. Doing meditation, mindful pilates, affirmations, reading, learning, journaling and visualising has helped her immensely on her journey.

Wealth is an attitude, it's not a destination.

Know what your money archetypes are helps you understand why there can be such conflicts going on.

In money archetypes, both accumulator and ruler don't particularly like spending money they like saving their money. Investment doesn't come naturally saving does.

There's always so many more things to do and create and be inspired and help the world with.

Very often we beat ourselves up when we make mistakes, when actually, mistakes are the only thing that we learn from. Mistakes are gifts, gifts for moving forward rather than something to berate ourselves with.

  • #32 Understanding And Owning Your Relationship With Money

In this episode of the podcast, I talk about the importance of understanding YOUR relationship with money. Understanding your relationship with money is the key to improving your relationship with it and the success you see as a result.

    Key Takeaways

By focusing on the relationship you want with money And being totally open to exploring where your limiting beliefs have come from can change at a core level, what that relationship looks and feels like.

A cookie cutter approach to developing a productive and flourishing relationship with money is unhelpful and in the long term ineffective.

Our beliefs about money play a huge role in how much we earn, and how successful we are because how you think about money affects every decision you make about it.

It's important to remember that money is just a tool. It's not the end goal. The most important thing is what we do with it.

Everyone has their own unique relationship with money.

When you own your money story and make it work for you. Really good things happen.

Your future is only limited by the limits you place on it.
