  • #31 Anna Parker Naples – What is Your Money Story?

In this episode of the podcast, I speak with Anna Parker Naples, the UK’s Leading Podcast Launch Expert. I have much to be grateful to Anna for, as it was she that introduced me to podcasting.

Anna shares her childhood story and money story. During our conversation Anna talked about a frightening and scary core memory that really impacted how she viewed money and develop a belief that having wealth makes your life at risk. Join Anna and I as we explore industry money beliefs, pressures and views. This is a conversation that will enlighten you to find your equilibrium and push you forward to have self awareness and go onward to be visible in your life and business. Enjoy tuning in!

    Key Takeaways

Our relationship with money does form in our childhood, and those experiences from childhood can play out differently even when growing up in that same environment.

Achieving dreams and aspirations don’t happen overnight. You have to start the journey and you have to start now.

Show up, be visible. Tremendous opportunities are available.

Reframe your mind. Demonstrate the art of possible. You have a choice to reality.

When you get visible, you show people that you're going to do the thing you're going to do and then you continue doing it and showing them over and over and over again. You can do anything, you can turn any circumstance around.

Being aware of triggers is important, you have to start to notice when you're feeling unhappy, you have to stop and think why, what is actually going on for me.

  • #30 Say Goodbye To Imposter Syndrome

In this latest episode of Let’s Talk Money and More Podcast, I share what Imposter Syndrome is and how to overcome it.

Our relationship with money is hugely interlinked with our personal feelings of self worth, and self value. And impostor syndrome can frequently cause so much frustration, and quite simply hold us stuck, unable to move our business forward.

Know, that you are not alone. Overcoming these feelings and building on your proven competence at work, or even in your personal life starts with accepting yourself for who you are.

    Key takeaways:

Other people's success doesn't define or limit yours. Your skills and talents are unique to you, and doesn't have to be compared to the skills and talents of others.

In overcoming Imposter Syndrome you have to be mindful of negative self talk. For internal conversation shapes how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Visualise success. Get into the habit of picturing yourself being successful in setting and achieving both short and long term goals, be constant and consistent in encouraging yourself to reach them, most importantly celebrate it.

Overcoming Impostor Syndrome is a choice. A choice that you control actively and intentionally choose to be confident in your ability. Choose to believe that your knowledge and experience is valuable.

10 tips to banish Impostor Syndrome. Let go of trying to do things according to other people's opinions. Stay in your lane, focus on you and your success.

  • #29 Brittany Welsh – What is Your Money Story?

In this episode I am joined by Brittany Welsh. Brittany is a mother of two, marketing executive and manifestation expert. She demystifies the process of manifesting to help people tap into their unlimited creating potential and manifest their desired reality.

    Key Takeaways

    • Manifesting is simply creating a physical reality at something that we can see. Manifesting is intentionally asking for something and creating the action upon which to make it happen.
    • When we hold something as a belief or conviction, we begin to think that that’s the information we tell our brain is relevant. And we want to process that into our awareness.
    • Our money archetypes are our board directors, the more we understand our board directors, their characteristics, their gifts, their challenges, their strengths, the more we can lean in to the relevant board director, when it comes to making a decision about money.
    • Past experiences, behavioral patterns and beliefs dictate our thoughts, feelings and actions in present moment.
    • Visualisation and affirmation is also key to swap doubts, fears and limiting beliefs into having a positive and renewed thought process regarding money.
    • Being in a perpetual present moment means being intentional with thoughts, feelings and actions.
    • You have a choice, you can either consciously create and choose what's fulfilling to you.
    • The purpose is learning growth, expansion, personal development, interested rewards, a feeling pride and everything coming from within.

  • #28 Time To Change?

In this episode I share the importance of accepting change, as an opportunity for growth and how actively looking to change your relationship with money, will bring you closer to achieving your financial goals.

    Key takeaways:

Change is scary and uncomfortable but the cost of staying the same is much higher than the cost of change.

Your relationship with money affects every aspect of your life and business.

It's easy to stay in your comfort zone. But by staying the same, you're not progressing and your relationship with money is not getting any better.

The cost of staying the same is stagnation and regression. The cost of change is growth and progress.

In creating a deep and long lasting change that reflects in all aspects of life we need to fight for our limitations

Value in yourself is a process. You are worth the effort required to make that change. And when you value yourself those around you will start valuing you too.

How money enhanced her experiences and how it provided more opportunities for the things that are important to her.

Recognising that money is a reflection of how you are living your life.

From a holistic approach and viewpoint, understanding our relationship with money fundamentally means it isn't about the number in the bank. It's about the emotional number.
