What would you do if someone were to harm your child, in a way that changed their life forever? What is the limit a parent can be pushed? We as parents have one job, to keep our children safe. By any means necessary. One of the things we have learned from our research of true crime is that the justice system fails a lot more than we would like to admit. This is not one of the cases.
It is July 30th 2008, Tim Mclean is on a bus heading back to his home in Winnipeg from his carnival job in Edmonton. Little did he know, that the person that would end his life and mutilate his body in front of everyone, is sitting right next to him. The horror that would take place on the bus that evening would scar the witnesses forever. Flesh being torn, blood flowing uncontrollably. Pure unexpected violence.
Judith Barsi was born on June 6th 1978 to Hungarian immigrant parents. Her mother immediately started grooming her to be a star. She was beautiful, talented and vibrant, but the happiness she displayed on screen, did not reflect what was happening at home. Her father was spiraling down, into an alcohol fueled state of psychosis. He routinely abused Judith and her mother. July 25th 1988, the abuse reached levels, in which no one would ever return.
Susan Leigh Smith is an American woman who was convicted of murdering her two children, three-year-old Michael and 14-month-old Alexander. The case gained international attention because of Smith's false claim that a black man had kidnapped her sons during a carjacking. Wikipedia
