#52 - On October 8th, 2009, Bobby and Sherilynn Jamison left their Oklahoma home with their young daughter, Madyson, to look at a remote piece of property they were considering buying.

Several days later, their pickup truck was discovered abandoned in the mountains. Inside were the family’s wallets, cell phones, identification, and approximately $32,000 in cash. Even their dog had been left behind.

But there was no sign of the Jamisons.

Four years later, the remains of Bobby, Sherilynn, and Madyson were discovered less than three miles away. However, investigators couldn’t determine how they died—or explain the strange circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

#48 - On April 15, 2005, Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar told his girlfriend he was going for a drive. He never came home.

A respected prosecutor with a successful career, Ray was just months away from retirement when he seemingly vanished without a trace. Days later, his red Mini Cooper was found abandoned in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. His cellphone was inside. Ray was nowhere to be found.

Then came an even stranger discovery.

Months after his disappearance, a laptop belonging to Ray was recovered from the Susquehanna River. The hard drive had been intentionally removed. When investigators later found the hard drive itself, it was too damaged to recover any data, leaving one of the most important pieces of evidence forever out of reach.

#47 - In the early morning hours of October 27, 2006, Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Jeffrey Mitchell initiated what appeared to be a routine traffic stop on a white Chevrolet van. Minutes later, fellow deputies found him mortally wounded on a rural stretch of road after a violent struggle. The driver of the van had vanished, and despite an extensive investigation, no one has ever been charged with his murder.

#43 - On the morning of September 5th, 1982, twelve-year-old Johnny Gosch left his home in West Des Moines, Iowa, to deliver newspapers along his usual paper route.

It was early and still dark outside. And at first, nothing seemed unusual.

But witnesses later reported seeing Johnny speaking with a strange man near the route. Others noticed an unfamiliar car driving through the neighborhood that morning.

Then, sometime before sunrise, Johnny disappeared.

More than forty years later, nobody knows exactly what happened to him.
