We want to apologize for the issues with Erin’s audio! There were some technical difficulties with her mic that we were unaware until after our recording with Madi. We hope that despite this you enjoy this episode.
This week on Finding Authenticity we sit down with Madi Robertson, a mental health advocate and Phd Candidate. The three of us have a candid conversation about our own journeys with mental health, and the importance of talking about our lived experiences.
In this episode we discuss our experiences with mental health conversations in school, what it’s like when you start sharing your personal experiences, and mental health in older people.

This week on Finding Authenticity we are back to our roots and rambling on about our lives, and how to live a better, more authentic one. Specifically, Erin and Jenn discuss the trouble that being a people pleaser can get you into.
It is important to be a helpful, and generous person, but there is so much power in saying no. This episode is for you if you feel like you always say yes, you don’t make time for yourself, are stretched out too thin, and/or worry too much about how others view you
Escaping the people pleasing trap is another step towards finding authenticity.

This week on Finding Authenticity we're talking about how to put a positive spin on the fact that we'll never being the same again after a major life event or traumatic event.
It can be easy to wish we could go back to who we were before these things happened, or even to think about who we would’ve been without experiencing trauma...
But, if you take a "grow through what you go through" approach, you can actually learn from your pain and become a better person.
In this episode you'll hear Erin and Jenn discuss the things about themselves they don’t believe would exist without their struggles.
