Finding Felicity episodes

  • 'Finding Felicity' Ep. 38 - 'Revolutions' (Or, ‘The Morning After’)

Episode 38 of Finding Felicity is called Revolutions (Or, The Morning After) because, in addition to the morning-after pill being of central concern to the plot, Ben and Noel have a sort of “morning after” experience after a study session-turned-drunken brawl.

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 16, “Revolutions,” in which Felicity organizes a sit-in to protest the university’s policy on providing the morning-after pill; Noel and Ben developing a bromance over studying, video games, and a knock-down, drag-out brawl; and Julie wrestling with her mental health in the aftermath of her sexual assault.

    • 'Finding Felicity' Ep. 37 - 'Things Change' (Or, ‘Dad's on Drugs!’)

Episode 37 of Finding Felicity is called Things Change (Or, Dad’s on Drugs!) because Felicity discovers that her father is less okay than he seems, finally experiencing the universal truth that parents are human after all.

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 15, “Things Change,” in which Felicity sees her dad in a new light, Ben navigates his lingering feelings for Felicity as he tries to go on a date with a new girl, Elena and Tracy finally get together after circling each other for several episodes, and Noel finally makes a decision about his relationship with Ruby.

    • 'Finding Felicity' Ep. 36 - 'True Colors' (Or, ‘Dammit, Maureen!’)

Episode 36 of Finding Felicity is called True Colors (Or, Dammit, Maureen!) because Felicity’s woes at the clinic are at least partly stupid, unseen fellow volunteer Maureen’s fault!

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 14, “True Colors,” in which the gang all gets together and hashes out their issues at a painting party at Noel and Elena’s apartment. Noel and Ruby’s relationship comes to a head, and Julie finally starts to deal with her sexual assault trauma.

Kat and Teresa also wonder about the music used in the painting party dance scene in the episode, knowing that what’s now on Hulu, and even what’s on the available DVDs doesn’t use the original music that was aired. Teresa and Kat decide that they will reach out to the fine folks at the Felicity Restoration Project to find out more!

    • 'Finding Felicity' Ep. 35 - 'Truth or Consequences' (Or, ‘Crying and Sad-Walking’)

Episode 35 of Finding Felicity is called Truth or Consequences (Or, Crying and Sad-Walking) because this episode–the Valentine’s Day episode, apparently–is chock full of girls crying and lots of people taking poignant, sad walks.

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 13, “Truth or Consequences,” in which Noel and Ruby have to decide what to do about Ruby’s pregnancy, Felicity and Ben navigate their new community service assignment at the university health clinic, and Julie deals with her record company’s A&R guy being a total dickbag.

We also get into some pretty great conversation about abortion, how fraught TV's portrayal of abortion has been, and how important it is to actually say the word abortion and destigmatize it.

    • FINDING FELICITY: Ep. 34 – 'The Slump' (Or, 'Sh*t Gets REAL')

Episode 33 of Finding Felicity is called The Slump (Or, Sh*t Gets REAL) because we’re finally getting the second half of the drama that started in "Great Expectations"–what’s happening with Felicity’s parents? With Felicity and Ben? With Noel and Ruby?–and the proverbial sh*t gets so real.

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 12, “The Slump,” in which Felicity deals with the aftermath of both her parents’ divorce announcement and her pool escapades with Ben. Meanwhile, in a Finding Felicity first, Teresa is actually forced to care what happens with Noel and Ruby…because of Ruby’s possible  pregnancy?

    • FINDING FELICITY: Ep. 33 – 'Help for the Lovelorn' (Or, 'The ‘Felicity’ Episode Made Especially For Teresa')

Episode 33 of Finding Felicity is called Help for the Lovelorn (Or, The ‘Felicity’ Episode Made Especially For Teresa) because every single thing about this unique and nerdy episode of Felicity speaks to Teresa’s soul.

Teresa and Kat change things up a bit format-wise to discuss Felicity S2, Episode 11, “Help for the Lovelorn,” in which Felicity seeks a cure to her broken heart at a mysterious clinic straight out of the Twilight Zone. There’s also a special guest appearance by Rod Serling (or, at least someone trying to sound a lot like him).

Episode 32 of Finding Felicity is called Great Expectations (Or, Party Like It’s 2000) in honor of this being the first Felicity episode of Y2K. Yes, after January 1st, 2000, the world continued to turn, and Felicity continued to air. Can you believe it?!

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 10, “Great Expectations,” in which Felicity’s family life is unexpectedly turned upside-down, Ben reconsiders having ended things with Felicity, Julie starting to feel the ick around A&R guy Erik, and RUBY DOESN’T KNOW WHEN TO CUT IT OUT, AND NOEL FEELS THE NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO HER EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS THE ONE WHO WAS BEING RIDICULOUS!

    • FINDING FELICITY: Ep. 31 – 'Portraits' (Or, 'Reverse Reeling')

Episode 31 of Finding Felicity is called Portraits (Or, Reverse Reeling), and…wait…is Teresa starting to sympathize with Noel? No. No, that can’t be right. Can it?

Still, Noel and Felicity remain infuriating as hell.

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 9, “Portraits,” featuring Felicity and Noel being assigned an unnecessarily intimate art project, a musical performance that levels up Julie’s career options, and Ben being a silly little bean and not reading his syllabus properly.

    • FINDING FELICITY: Ep. 30 – 'Family Affairs' (Or, 'USE YOUR WORDS!')

Episode 30 of Finding Felicity is called Family Affairs (Or, USE YOUR WORDS!), because we get to see Felicity finally, at long last, express herself and say the things she needs to say to the important people in her life!

But don’t worry – she does so in the messiest, most melodramatic way possible, and that’s just how we like it!

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 8, “Family Affairs,” featuring yet another awkward holiday meal to which TOO MANY PEOPLE were invited. Also, Ben finally wises up and recognizes that his Melrose Place escapee “girlfriend” should be kicked thoroughly to the curb.

Episode 29 of Finding Felicity is called Getting Lucky (Or, How Long Were You Sitting on THAT Joke?), because come on. The only reason there’s a dog in this episode is so they could make a sex joke about it.

Teresa and Kat discuss Felicity S2, Episode 7, “Getting Lucky,” featuring an adorable (if slightly mangy) dog, “The Rental” (AKA, the proto-”Netflix and Chill”), and Elena stepping out of Grease 2 to ask Felicity whether or not she “scored.”

Dear J.J, Felicity’s box doesn’t need to be a “mystery box!”

    About Finding Felicity

    From the publisher's feed

On ‘Finding Felicity,' Teresa Jusino (a ‘Felicity’ newbie) chats with Kat Street (a huge ‘Felicity’ fan) about life, love, and growing up--no matter how old you are--through the lens of the hit J.J.…
