In this series of episodes, we will be looking at French Philosopher Rene Descartes'  ideas. This series will work through his work "Discourse on the Method." I will attempt to both summarize and build on Descartes' work and defend some of his more contentious beliefs.

I recently read the book "Angels in the Architecture" by Douglas Jones and Douglas Wilson. This book was, by all means, earth-shaking. I usually do not plan to devote entire podcast episodes to a single book, but this one deserves it. In this episode, I talk about the book, some of the concepts therein, and the ramifications that it would have if we took Medievalism seriously.

Michelangelo's Pieta is an amazing work of art. Aside from the sheer artistic quality of the work, the Pieta is a symbol of the existence of sacrifice, suffering, and meaning; it is the Gospel of Christ and the relationship of God to man, the beacon of God's love. We look at all these things and more in this episode.

Ayn Rand is one of the biggest influences in modern Philosophy. Working off the back of Atheism and the "death of God," Rand created a philosophy to live in the world. With the virtue of selfishness, she believed that the world would be a better place. However, Rand's literature is cheap, her ideas are generic, and her philosophy falls apart under pressure. In this episode, we look at why this is the case and also some of the good things about Rand.

When someone says your racist, what do they mean? It is foolish to be calling everyone and everything racist. I explain why in this video. I also talk about the problems in believing in "Systemic Racism" and how doing so is believing in a communist ideology set to destroy all of Western thought.
