On the Thursday, January 26, 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Jim Sinicropi and Sydney Radka prepare you for the day. First, Jim talks about the  weather outlook for the final weekend of January. He also catches us up on the latest headlines including a bike service in Ithaca and a string of car burglaries in Geneva.  Then, Rebecca Swift caught up with Brenda Spratt from Family Promise of Ontario County talk about homelessness in the Finger Lakes. After that exclusive interview, Nate Sharman joins the show to talk sports including the slate of high school basketball games this weekend in the Wayne-Finger Lakes. To wrap up the show, Jim, Sydney and Felecia Dombrowski talk about Jim's recent visit to Elephant and the Dove in Skaneateles and review other restaurants and go to spots in the scenic Finger Lakes village.

On the Wednesday, Janauary 25 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Josh Durso and Sydney Radka prepare you for the day. First, Josh talks about the winter weather that we are seeing in the area. Then, Josh talk about the race for Mayor Waterloo. Josh then shows his interview with Mayoral Candidate Walt Bennett. Incumbent Jack O'Connor has decided to drop out of the race for Waterloo Mayor. After that exlusive interview, Paul Russo and Jim Sinicropi join the show to talk spots. Scott Rolen was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame and Paul and Jim are fired up about it. Other topics include: Syracuse basketball, Buffalo Sabres Hockey and local High School Basketball. Rebecca then sits down with John D'Alessandro to talk about Volunteer Firefighters in Rural Upstate New York. After their talk, Jim joins the show to talk about his Adrionack River Platter. Jim tells us the ins and outs of the dish and even gives it a rating.

First, Josh debriefs us on some of the freezing rain we could be seeing in the Finger Lakes region. After weather, we hear about some news stories including road improvements and the fight against Ticketmaster. Also, it is being reported that Carole Baskin's husband, Don Lewis, has been found alive. This stems from the very popular Netflix series "Tiger King' which took the US by storm in 2020. Don Lewis was reported dead in 2002 but he has been located alive and "doing well" in Coasta Rica. After that shocking news, Paul Russo drops by the studio to break down the latest action in the world of sports. He tells us about the largest High School games in the area, a Mets update and plans for the Bills to play in Europe next season. After that, Sydney shows us a clip from yesterdays episode of FLX Weekly. Megan Kasperek and Abbi Aruck were in studio to discuss Local Palate in Phelps. Josh and Syd end the show talking about Doug's Fish Fry, which is appearing in Waterloo today.

On the Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Rebecca Swift and Jim Sinicropi prepare you for the day. To start the show, Sean Marron of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra joins us in studio. Sean plays the flute in the RPO and is a student at the Eastman School of Music.  After getting to know Sean, he performs live in studio.  Josh Durso then discusses some of the largest news items impacting the Finger Lakes region, including updates on a fatal crash in Wayne County, a fatal fire in Schuyler County, a false bomb threat at a local school, a rise in guns being brought to local airports and a price increase on stamps. Rebecca recently spoke with Jeffrey Wierzbicki from the Finger Lakes Problem Gambling Resource Center on the impact mobile sports betting has had in the area.  Nate Sharman and Paul Russo join the show to discuss the NFL Playoff games and odds with Rebecca and Jim, as well as get you caught up on the local high school hoops scene from last night.

On the Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Rebecca Swift and Paul Russo prepare you for the day. To start the show, Josh Durso tells us about the weather including the freezing rain we saw overnight. Josh then discusses some of the largest news items impacting the Finger Lakes region. NYSEG is in the news as more outages have been reported and the proposed vaccine mandate for healthcare workers has been shot down. After news, FingerLakes1.com's own Kyle Evans stops by to debrief us on local high school basketball. Paul, Kyle and Producer Nate reveal their power rankings for the week and discuss some local games that have happened recently. Then, Rebecca is able to sit down with Jessica Pido-Goodspeed from Hunger Solutions. Pido-Goodspeed informs us of a possible statewide mandate to establish free meals for students in New York State. To end the show, Rebecca tells us about some big news regarding the NFL Playoffs.

Josh Durso was in studio to catch us up on the weather, with the sun making a January guest appearance today in the forecast.  The latest headlines including the latest on a hit-and-run in Wayne County over the weekend, minimum wage's latest battle, and a flight diverted from Ithaca to Syracuse.  Nate Sharman was at the Bills' playoff game yesterday and discusses the action there from Highmark Stadium.  He also talks with Paul Russo on Syracuse's win against Notre Dame which has both guys divided.  Kyle Evans recently caught up with Dean Schott, Head Coach for the Lyons Lions boys basketball team on the season so far and what may be ahead for the squad.  Rebecca talked with Melissa Gilbert from Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes on human trafficking and just how local it is for one Finger Lakes county.

On the Friday, January 13, 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today hosts Nate Sharman and Rebecca Swift prepare you for the day. Josh Durso was in studio to catch us up on the weather, as weather advisories were issued with winter weather already settling in to start the day today.  He also give us a weather outlook which see mild for the season temperatures return on Monday.  The latest headlines including diving deeper in to Governor Hochul's State of the State address and Federal money for Brownfield sites.  Nate takes a look at the sports run down for the weekend including the Bills playoff game on Sunday against Miami.  Rebecca recently caught up with the general manager of the Hotel Canandaigua on the latest on the site and Josh spoke with Senator Tom O'Mara about what his priorities and opportunities are for 2023.
