After Josh informs us of the latest news, Rick Newman of Generations Bank drops in to talk about the Right to Run 5k upcoming this summer. The Right to Run 5k takes place in historic Seneca Falls and celebrates women's suffrage. After that exclusive interview, Rebecca Swift sits down with Jake Chard to talk about the latest news in Gorham. Chard is the town councilor in Gorham. To end the show, Producer Paul Russo joins the show to talk about the world of sports. There has been some great local HS basketball games of late and Paul has all the information. On Tuesday night, Nate Sharman and Paul Russo were able to be joined by Waterloo Tigers Girls Head Basketball Coach Mike Bree live from Waterloo High School to talk about his team and their undefeated season. They end the show talking about Super Wild Card Weekend and their favorite possible upsets of the weekend.

Nate Sharman breaks down the latest from the high school basketball world including the crazy game from Waterloo last night that saw the Tigers win in double overtime against Canandaigua.  Samantha Parish recently caught up with the owners of Tucci's Family Diner to discuss their story and how the establishment came to be.  A spirited discussion then occurs in studio as all members of the FingerLakes1.com team talk the best diner foods.  Samantha also spoke with Samantha Mandrino from Project Lean Nation in Canandaigua about the location and their offerings.  Jim Sinicropi was in the kitchen and shows us his latest meal, Cacio e Pepe.

Josh and Paul then discuss the world of sports. They give their takes about the rout that occurred last night as Georgia took down TCU in the National Championship game. Then, Josh sits down with Dr. Don Levy of Siena College to talk about Consumer Sentiment. After that exclusive interview, Jim Sinicropi stops in to talk about his recent trip to Nick's Chop House in Canandaigua.

On the Monday, January 9, 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Sydney Radka and Jim Sinicropi prepare you for the day and week ahead. Jim provides the weather outlook for the week as the mild conditions through the Finger Lakes is slated to continue.  Josh Durso recently spoke with Environmental Reporter Peter Mantius about a recent act regarding salt in New York and what implications it has for highway departments across the state.  Nate Sharman stopped by the studio to talk sports, including the Syracuse Orange losing in Virginia, local high school hoops and Cornell quietly making noise in the Ivy League basketball standings.  To wrap up the show, Jim shows us his take on shrimp and grits using his new smoker grill this weekend.

On the Friday, January 6th, 2023 edition of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Jim Sinicropi and Rebecca Swift prepare you for the day. In the studio today, we have an exclusive interview with Ontario County District Attorney, Jim Ritts as well as the Ontario County Courthouse Canine, Juno! Ritts explains to us how impactful Juno is to the courthouse and examples of how Juno eased tension. Ritts also fills us in on happening around the county. After that exclusive interview, Josh Durso stops in to give us all the latest headlines in the region including the rural ambulance task force, the Seneca Falls Town Board's decision, the railway in Geneva and Gannett's printing facility in Rochester.
