On the Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 episode of Finger Lakes Today, hosts Rebecca Swift and Josh Durso prepare you for the day! Toward the end of the week, the Finger Lakes region could receive some snow! Josh and Rebecca prepare us for the winter storm that could be impacting the region. After weather, Josh and Rebecca talk about some of the larger stories around the region including G.W Lisk, a shooting in Geneva and the aftermath of a school threat in Watkins Glen. Shortly after, Producer Paul Russo stops by to tell us about Syracuse Soccer National Championship, High school Basketball and even some breaking Bills news! Rebecca then sits down with Fire Chief of Fishers in Rochester, Daniel Chapman. After, Rebecca interviews Yvonne Taylor from Seneca Lake Guardian about a statement that was put out by Seneca Meadows. Rebecca concludes the show by diving into the statement from SMI.

On the Monday, December 12th edition of Finger Lakes Today the team recapped an incredible turnout in Seneca Falls for It's A Wonderful Life, as the annual festival and 5K brought thousands. The race had more than 4,500 particpants with 3,700+ crossing the finish line. Rebecca Swift caught up with Hannah Garrett, a senior at Cazenovia College, to talk about closure and what that means for students across the spectrum. The team also discussed a wild weekend in sports, which saw the Syracuse Men's Basketball team get back on track with a dominant win over Georgetown, as well as a big win for the Buffalo Bills against the New York Jets.
